the chems are going to be playing live on the outdoor stage of creamfields, liverpool 28th august bank holiday.
creamfields is without a doubt the best dance festival in the uk. which is a shame cos it the furthest for me to get to!! the whole line up for the entire event looks very strong. bellow are some line-up highlights for me.
the chemical brothers
erick morillo
seb fontaine
deep dish
layo & bushwacka
plump dj's
fc kahuna
medicine 8
darren emerson
yousef
josh wink
it's gonna be a very good summer.
creamfields, it's gonna be bigger than glastonbury!!!!

not so sure about creamfields sneaks - I went when it was in winchester (just down the road from home literally) and it was wicked, no probs.......but the events at liverpool airport I'm not so sure about....
the last one I went to there was marred by the constant hassle from scallies. we got there and there were police everywhere (sorry but not conducive for loving/dancing/smiling in my book) and the majority of the night was spent keeping away from some very dodgy people....
I was dancing in the bicardi bar to some very fine house music indeed (either del boy carter or kenny hawkes I think) when I looked down to see some guy with his hand in my pocket......luckily I pushed him away and he didn't turn nasty (I think my gurning face probably scared him!) but it wasn't nice....to top it off a girl had been attacked in the car park on the way out.....dark
had a couple of experiences like that there which kinda put me off - shame really cus creamfields was always a damn site better than homelands...which is frankly awful if you ask me....
bring back the old tribal gatherings!

the first creamfields (1998??) in winchester was a bit strange. it was the first time i had been to a full on dance festival. i remember seeing girls totally glammed up with high heals and slinky dresses, shame it was the first week of may and the weather was mild and the ground was soft. i think most people did not grasp clubbing in fields.
the chems were djing at the winchester creamfields in the big beat boutique tent if i remember correctly. i just remember being in the tent and dancing with my feet going up and down yet my shoes were stuck in the mud and they were going nowhere. i also remember watching fatboy slim dj. i was well into his thing at the time. it quite funny looking back, he was playing about 5 or 6 in the afternoon/evening, to an empty tent!!! how thing changed for him soon after that.
the matterley bowl, winchester is a great place to hold festivals. i've been to all the homelands and creamfields festivals down there bar one. it's easy to get for me, it's only a 20 minute drive home to camberley. i've had some wicked times down their and seen many great artists. but over the years the line up have seemed to get weaker, which is a shame. i'll still be going next month. it's my official start to the summer!!!
creamfields in liverpool though has gone from strength to strength. i have been to 3 of them. they totally know how to throw a party!! the line ups are always diverse. the choice of who to see can be tricky. i can't wait for this years festival, there best line up yet!! my friends and i love going to liverpool, we've only had good nights when we have been up there. it's a party place.
i must admit i have never been to any of the tribal gatherings. although last years warehouse party did look very exciting!!
