wow I think we forumers are mentally connected in some way, because I came here just to post the same song, Gypster.

Goosebumps everytime I hear it. It´s the most beautiful score in years and I don´t know why Hollywood keeps ignoring the genius of Hisashi(unlike the cult status Alexandre Desplat has reached there for example).

Awesome topic, although it's difficult to think of tracks that are truly instrumental! Totally agree with Belfast, La Femme d'argent and Beethoven's Pastoral.

A bit of a "back of the beer mat" list from me, but here's some I thought of that haven't already been posted:

Perpetuum Mobile by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra:

The Planets: Jupiter, The Bringer of Jollity by Gustav Holst:

Kometenmelodie 2 by Kraftwerk:

And another two:
In Space by Royksopp
Homeward Angel (long) by Moby

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

This one is breathtaking, the music is one of the best parts of Spirited Away!

Koji Kondo is also God Tier under rated composer.

All Ocarina of Time soundtrack is beautiful:

I am not sure about this one, can a voice be considered as an instrument?
