Electronic music isn't as popular here in the US as in Europe. My friends and i love it and it sucks that we can't see our favorite bands.

Then again we are studying abroad in England in the fall so i guess we can go then.

Ugh, I wish Electronic music was popular in Oklahoma. There are really only 4 type of public radio stations here: Country, Rock (which rarely plays a Prodigy song), Pop, and a public, non-commercial radio for talk shows and classical music. Oh, and I guess an Oldies station.

Radio stations pretty much cover all the socially acceptable stuff, so I'm pretty much out of luck here.

(Oh, reading Mixmag makes me depressed because every few pages I see and an advert for some festival with groups I'll probably never see without making a trip over the atlantic)

My roommate is actually from OK (lived in Norman and graduated from OSU)... we were able to get an incredibly cheap flight through Southwest from OKC to St. Louis... it seems like they consistantly have low prices wherever they fly... so keep it in mind, Profunk.
