Ive herd about this a bit but is there actually gonna be a dvd? where is the source coming from. Personally I feel a better dvd would be the show in december at Brixton because this looks to be the end of the PTB tour and would be a great show to film.

anyway, whats all this jazz about a live DVD anyway? has joslyn got some insider info or something??

seeing as how the release that DVD last year it seems fairly unlikely theyd be doing another one for at least a couple of years, id have thought.

i think you would have remembered if there were cameras. i was at brixton when the charlatans recorded their live dvd. i think i counted 11 camera men on the job they had the whole place covered. the cranes are a big give away that they are filming

i don't think there is any substance in a live dvd in the future. i think its just a rumour thats gathering momentum. but i think we really need to start a propper petition for a live anthology dvd and cd!!!

Shame you havnt filmed all the gigs you have been to sneaker, that would be an excellent history package. A petiton would be a good idea but do we really wanna hassle the boys?

what hassle?? its just another thread on the forum. i know we would all love a live dvd and cd. its more about people supporting what a great idea this project would be.

i just want something to watch 20 years down the road and say i went to those crazy audio visual shows.

Wow thanks alot surface2air!!! :D

No you guys I don't have any inside information. I'm just sooo sure a live dvd will be released end of this year or early next year. This tour has been so great and with that Isle of MTV gig and Believe live on the Boxer single and even the bonus disc for that upcoming PTB Japan release talks about live excepts. And with all these other music dvd's releases being released why wouldn't the Chems release one?? I'm absolutly sure it's coming. And I really wanted to push Tom & Ed a bit with this poll to please put "Close your eyes" on it. SO KEEP VOTING!!!!!! :D :D

Hell yes!!!

I agree to a proper petition for a live dvd - but this thread is a good start!

Maybe if we ask nicely, we shall receive. :)

Now that's what I'm thinking!

And I'd bust it out any old time, just because I could.

Well i havn't heard Close Your Eyes live but it is an excellent song and one of the best from ptb and should have its own little place on the new live dvd.

Im sure there would be plently of voluntears for that. However just a dvd with a show one would be cool enough for me.

I think its metallica who made a dvd from fans bootleg videos, fans where asked to send them in and the best were put onto the dvd. The Chems could also make a collection of bootleg cds.

special reminder to all

at v2005 the magic numbers and the chems are playing the same stage at both venues so close your eyes live might be possible there and v2005 is fully televised
