OK. So, like... behold:
Tom's on the left, but who's that on the right? Justin Robertson? Who??? (You can go to http://community.web...120709235VglWjn to see a bigger image of this photo.)
And as I'm feeling rather generous tonight...
Now's there's more where that came from... yes, I mean more NYE 2003 photos... if someone can pls. tell me who's the man on the right in the first photo. The curiosity's absolutely killing me!

or it could be someone like the chems manager or tour manager. just going thru my photos of the singles 9303 party at turnmills i got a picture of a similar looking geezer in the booth.
i'll upload some photos for you later, off to freeze my nuts of at a football match now.

Thx! Yeah, as you know, there were at least 3 djs(?)/men sans hair in the booth that night, and one who looked like he didn't have eyebrows either. It might be a bit difficult to tell them apart w/ just the photos I have taken. Nonetheless, I've uploaded the picture of the one minus the brows, so it might be possible to differentiate between the 2 (i.e., between my smooth-headed "mystery man" in the first image, and the even smoother-headed dj w/out eyebrows in this one). Maybe he (the one w/out eyebrows) is Justin Robertson instead? Or maybe he's the tech. you mention? :-?
Or maybe they're both techs?
Or... perhaps the first "mystery man" is part of the Chem family, like a manager as you speculated, or a 3rd brother we don't even know about? 8O He seemed well acquainted enough w/ Tom and Ed to blow that horn at midnight really loudly. (Which, by the way, was a real blast.) But, I don't know.
Anyway, here y'go, the dj w/out the eyebrows: http://community.web...20871793jjjVOb.
It seemed like my boy in the first photo was doing more than just lights, but I don't know enough about the gear so I could be totally wrong. He just looked busier than the Chems at the time, whatever he was up to.
And I totally look foward to seeing your phots, too. :P As for your nuts, good luck! 8O
Hi whirly!
You're very welcome, my pleasure. And thx ;-) , I hope I find out, too. Oh, the suspense...

So! Just to recap, (as you know it doesn't take much to confuse me) let's see if I've gotten this straight.
1. No Eyebrows Geezer: Definitely a Turnmills tech. Thx to sneaks for that bit of info. (Jury's still out on the smoothie bit, Gundi. 8) )
2. "Mystery Man": We're still not sure who my boy is, although we do know that he is not #1 (Turnmills no-brows geezer) nor is he #3 (brown-eyed, goatee boy). They are 3 totally different blokes.
3. Goatee Boy: There was only one other nearly clean-shaven, unidentified male that night, from what I could see, in that box. Alas, I have no picture of him. As I recall, he had brown eyes and the beginnings of a goatee. I assumed at the time that he was a Turnmills bloke.
Now then. That accounts for all 3 of the shorn gents I saw in the box that evening. The only other ppl I spotted in there were The Chems themselves and their women (wives?).
So where was Justin Robertson? Sneaky says he's not Turnmills no-brows geezer (#1). Any chance he's my boy, the "mystery man" (#2)? Or could I have missed him? Thought I was paying better attention than that. I don't think he was the brown-eyed, goatee one (#3)...
:-?

(Don't know if this will make things any clearer Gundhi, but just thought I would share in case anyone's interested.)
Went to Turnmill's last Sat (28/02/04)... was anyone else there? I was pleasantly surprised to see Ed in the box, didn't know he was to make an appearance. I went mainly b/c, as you know, the suspense was driving me crazy, mad but true, and I knew Justin Robertson was scheduled. (And sneaky's correct, my boy is definitely not Justin Robertson... how I missed Mr. Robertson on NYE is beyond me... Mystery Man is some sort of Turnmills bloke. I'll never doubt you again, sneaks.)
I brought the picture of Ed I've posted, plus a couple others of him from NYE, and I was intending to give them to Mystery Man (who's no longer such a mystery), but when I saw Ed, I decided to give them to him instead. I figured they're of Ed, he should have them himself. I hadn't planned this move properly, and the poor man's probably convinced I'm some sort of a deranged stalker. I just wanted to be nice, though, didn't want anything from him or to take up his time, so I handed him a few. Unfortunately, a bit later, I realized that there was one last one of him I'd missed b/c it was stuck to another (of Mystery Man, which I was still saving), so, awkwardly, I took this last one to Ed. Then, I ran away quickly to avoid seriously getting on his nerves, b/c he was like doing his thing and didn't need some weird chick hassling him. (Furthermore, I don't know if he really approved of me taking those pix in the first place. As someone mentioned, the flashes are really blinding, you can't see for like 5 seconds, and it must get really old after awhile. I didn't realize how bad it was until someone took one of me and I was like, "Uhh.")
As for Mystery Man, alas, wasn't meant to be I guess. ;-) (Prob. married and/or wouldn't be interested anyway.) We didn't cross paths, so I left the photo of him w/ someone who said he would deliver it and who also talked me into putting my name on the back (now Mystery Man probably thinks I'm a deranged stalker, as well), so hopefully he'll enjoy it and not get a weird impression of me, too.
Anyway, overall, a lovely evening, the music was fantastic, the crowd was awesome (made lots of new friends ;-) :P ), and the time just flew by.
Even saw no eyebrows geezer there... hope he doesn't know I talk about him like that.

i give it to you straight, why would i lie?? turnmills has been my second home for quite a few years now!!! don't worry that turnmills techie seems to a bit of a missery guts by our experiences of him. glad you had a good night seems, this year is my year of missing the 'together' events. never mind, hopefully i will be going to the next 'city loud' night at turnmills in a couple of weeks, its the best regular night at the club!!!
