I'm really looking forward to this film :

A silent movie with Jean Dujardin (who is, imo the best French actor of these last years) and John Goodman

I heard this track back when it came out--I enjoyed it despite the obvious borrowing of sound from other tracks. :)

Well you certainly got your point across. :)
I don't mind the resemblance to OOC, but I do hate the fact that seemingly nobody thinks Underworld is worth the effort of making a proper remix. Every remix since 2002 seems to be an original instrumental with some chopped-up Karl vocals thrown on top.
Two of the big "winners" in this category:

Went back to Winnipeg for a wedding social and to visit my parents for Mothers' Day + had an absolutely fantastic weekend. Saw and/or talked to so many old friends I hadn't seen in so long, spent lots of time with my parents, had great conversation with my mom, reflecting on great I felt my childhood was.

Went clubbing/to the bar with friends on the Friday night at a club I used to go to when I was 18. Felt SOOOOO old because it's still mostly 18-21 year olds there but was still fun. The wedding social was a great time: so many friends who I hadn't seen in far too long. And I had been running a hoax that I had recently won $1,000,000 in the lottery and everyone had to that point bought it hook, line and sinker. Had so much fun playing with that + eventually letting most in on the secret. (Although some people, now that I've admitted it's a hoax, think it actually happened and that I'm trying to deflect attention. Major LOLZ!!! Even my mom played along and some family members think that's the case.) Felt like a celebrity all weekend, with everyone I saw asking/congratulating me about the $1,000,000. :)

Weekend presented a bit of an odd situation romantically, though. Ended up hooking up with a female friend after the social.... who happens to be a pharmacist ... who is moving out here to work with (she got mad when I said "working for" to a mutual friend of ours) me in a few months .... who happens to be a single mom ... who may or may not have a boyfriend (I haven't established her current situation, I had previously been under the impression she was involved, though her actions this weekend lead me to think that is not the case) ... and who is very attractive ..... And I then ended up going on a date, which had already been planned, with another girl the very next day, who is also very attractive, and we hit it off fantastically, too.

I have no idea how fantastic this may be or how badly it may blow up in my face. (Somewhat concerned about the latter.) Sometimes it doesn't rain, it pours... Totally clueless what comes next.

haha, lolz @ Whirly.

I have had an 18-month period of near celibacy enforced by living out here and now it seems I'm rebounding... maybe a little too well.

Tim, you a pimp. That's all there is to it.

I'm going through an unfortunate circumstance where I want to be single while going to D.C. Unfortunately, my girlfriend definitely does not want to take a break and then resume after I get back. ::shakes head:: I have a feeling this won't end well, and I'll likely end up an asshole at the end of the day.

Driving down to SoCal to spend time with my son for 24 hours on Saturday and then flying out to D.C. on Monday. HOLY SHIAT! Quite the life change for a bit.

p.s. What the hell was with the triple post by me up there? I only hit Reply once.

That is a crazy life change, for sure! California's gonna miss ya, Pooter!

What's with all the complicated girl trouble lately...? :(

Anyway, not sure what's up with the forum. I've been getting some funky response times especially in the morning PST. This forum has always been so quirky, that when something quirky happens, it's just part of the norm, haha

I saw Atari Teenage Riot live yesterday, that was FUCKING AMAZING !!! Probably one of the best gigs I saw in my life ! Not only are they powerful on stage, but they also are very nice guys, not afraid to jump into the crowd, giving us the mikes...a friend of mine and I were able to take photos of us with Nic Endo, who also autographed our concert tickets. Really a friendly person, on the total opposite of all the rage and anger she has on stage.
The show in itself was incredible, 20 songs plus some crazy impros with their machines (reminds you of someone ?), including Alec lauching some kicking-ass beats on his 909.

My god it was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
