Does anyone know what time the tubes start on Easter Sunday? I have to get to Victoria because the bloody Faringdon-Brighton train is off :(

www.tfl.gov.uk/tube Ah Britain what a country. Any other country would carry out repairs at night, but we do it during public holidays. Thats why we have the great transport system that is the envy of the world. Oh im filling up again.........

From experience, probably sometime around 630/7 on a Sunday. There's good night buses if you need something before then.

the Farringdon train is always off.

you can bet if we're coming back from a spot of raving there will be a rail replacement service or as there was when we came back from the last Brixton gig to Brighton; a train which moved at a speed you could only describe as a brisk walk.

it took about a week to get to Brighton from Victoria. by which point we'd all lost the will to live..

the system needs upgrading. you can't argue with that but I can't see why it's taking so long to do. the fares are too high, the companies get subsides from the government and all turn in massive operating profits yet every weekend, every bank holiday there are rail replacements, cancellations and delays.

it drives me nuts.

anyway. that was dead serious eh?

um badgers on stilts...etc - as you were..

xx

Think I'm going to go for the walking option or bus, the bloody Circle Line is closed too. It's only 3 miles to Vicoria from Faringdon. The Brighton trains start at 6.30 from there (hopefully no replacement buses).

Anyone who has access to public transportation like the trains and the tube can stop complaining now. Thank you. That is all.

I wish. That snow path looks reasonably smooth compared to our roads.
