I would rather put my money on an Erol Alkan extended rework of an unreleased stuff. It's not Klaxons and definitely not Kele or Burgess...

At 4:00 in to that video they really let it play out with no beat underneath maybe waiting for crowd reaction to see how they react perhaps....
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

It also sounds a lot like Disclosure. Same kind of bass they use, very similar voice to the track "F For You"

That could be a good shout for the vocalist BEN J! Would be inline with past colabs with new artists. I love all this chat it happens every time then we find out it's not a CHems track or someone we've never thought of, bring on the new material!

This vocal is a bit...meh :( Love the beat though! Kind of remind me of saturate too.

Man, a Chems-Disclosure collab with Howard on vocals? I'd definitely go for that. Fingers crossed!

As for all you people up in arms over the Avicii comparison, just keep living in your safe little shells. A Tim Berg-shaped cloud is encroaching, and one day you won't be able to ignore it.

We already can't and it's pretty damn annoying. He's nearly completely talentless. Read this 100% serious article if you don't believe me:

At least he _tried_ to do something different on his newer works

fuck steve avshitty, this def sounds like a new chems track, from the vocals right through to the drum cut ups.

the fm style riff really reminds me of glimpse true south (comes in after 2 mins):

no idea as to the vocalist, but the track sounds wicked.

also it got all those 'oooo's' all over it which seem to be in vogue for the chems at the minute (think superflash etc)

Where does the name "the frequency" come from? Is it a sample in the song?

Well the vocal seems to go "Here in the frequency/is where I'm supposed to be". So it's a guess isn't it.
I know the idea of Kele from Bloc Party being the vocalist has been poo poo'd but unless the vocalist is an unknown (possible) I keep thinking it sounds like Kele. Kele does have a new 'dance' EP out on Crosstown Rebels called Heartbreaker, but admittedly all four of those tracks are more like old school garage than anything chemical...

Nah, no Kele there. He's got a different timbre in his voice. Fo shizzle.

I am. It's either an all new track or a remix of some other song. But it's definately 'chemical' written all over it.

So, Erol plays it as well...
The intro sound is similar to that sound they put in the Vitalic bootleg and a track in Hanna (can't remember which one)

With a chems-like intro? Nice.
