The Smiths: That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore

Park the car at the side of the road

You should know

Times tide will smother you

And I will too

When you laugh about people who feel so

Very lonely

Their only desire is to die

Well, Im afraid

It doesnt make me smile

I wish I could laugh

Above & Beyond - Laser-Kissed Trance (Mixmag covermount)

Just looking through a stack of discs on the floor for something a bit different. I really don't mind some trance, in small quantities. It's good for bobbing along to while at the computer or maybe while driving. I just really don't understand how you're supposed to dance to it. It just doesn't have enough propulsion to it, enough grab-you-by-the-crotch-and-yell-"Dance, bitch!!!" to it. And what do you do during a 90 second breakdown? Stand there and look like a twat?

At any rate, this is a decent mix. Pretty and ethereal in places, rifferific in others. If I was into trance, I probably wouldn't mind A&B. If I was into trance.

Black Strobe - Nazi Trance Fuck Off

This tune is MASSIVE. Glitchy, techy, electro-y, and mental. Reminds me of Erotic Discourse for some reason, although it's not all that similar.

Slow Jam by Four Tet

This such a great emotional track. Could be easily a soundtrack of drama or sort of . . .
E(argasm) = m(usic) x c(hemicals)²

U2 vs The Chems - Street of Gold

Bootleg with "The Golden Path" and "Where the Streets have no name"

Fucking excellent :D From the very first time I heard tgp, I've always thought Where the streets have no name lyrics would fit perfectly...

Jim Carroll Band - People That Died

Teddy sniffing glue, he was 12 years old

Fell from the roof on East Two-nine

Cathy was 11 when she pulled the plug

On 26 reds and a bottle of wine

Bobby got leukemia, 14 years old

He looked like 65 when he died

He was a friend of mine

Those are people who died, died

They were all my friends, and they died

G-berg and Georgie let their gimmicks go rotten

So they died of hepatitis in upper Manhattan

Sly in Vietnam took a bullet in the head

Bobby OD'd on Drano on the night that he was wed

They were two more friends of mine

Two more friends that died

Those are people who died, died

They were all my friends, and they died

Mary took a dry dive from a hotel room

Bobby hung himself from a cell in the tombs

Judy jumped in front of a subway train

Eddie got slit in the jugular vein

And Eddie, I miss you more than all the others

And I salute you brother

Those are people who died, died

They were all my friends, and they died

Herbie pushed Tony from the Boys' Club roof

Tony thought that his rage was just some goof

But Herbie sure gave Tony some bitchen proof

"Hey," Herbie said, "Tony, can you fly?"

But Tony couldn't fly, Tony died

Those are people who died, died

They were all my friends, and they died

Brian got busted on a narco rap

He beat the rap by rattin' on some bikers

He said, "Hey, I know it's dangerous, but it sure beats Riker's"

But the next day he got offed by the very same bikers

Those are people who died, died

They were all my friends, and they died

mogwai-travel is dangerous......simply amazing, great lyrics

"Who might know of this?

The notes we left

Our final thoughts

And we knew they'd get ours out

*Sink, sink*

*Drowned* by our country

Old machine

Is crushed and forgotten

Never surface again

The air runs out

The captain's first

So we take to memories

And layers of clothes

Up there the family weeps

Outside hammers

Noises sound like the end

And we will never see them

Sink, sink

Drowned by our country

Great machine

Is crushed, old and rotten

Never surface again"

on the coachella note, after watching the dvd i am there, i dont give a fuck who is playing or where i am, i AM there
