So, I had planned to write up an article over the weekend about "10 Years Ago" and about my Chemical journey, but things got in the way and I never found the time. I still might do the write up because I have a lot I want to say....just need to find sometime this week.

Anyways...just wanted to share that 05/20/07 was 10 year anniversary from my first time seeing the Checmial Brothers live.

...my life has been different ever since.

Chems and Cox...must have been a great show back then...wow.

Sad thing for me is that they have only come close to my city 1 time since then and that was back in 1999, so it's been 8 years since I have been able to see them play live again.

I didn't get around to seeing the Chems until 5 years ago in San Francisco--

A few months back I was talking to one of my friends about Coachella '99, and her response to when I told her about how I went to the second day instead of the first was, "You went to the wrong day, didn't you?"

I couldn't help but agree.

Rage and Tool were great, indeed, one after the other, but I know that if I had gone to see The Chemical Brothers and not Rage+Tool, I wouldn't be sitting here now writing that I wish I had gone to see the latter two instead of The Chemical Brothers...

God they're so fucking good live.

October '03 - Centro-Fly, New York, NY (DJ Set)

toomuch.....wasn't the Wipeout cd late 90's? I recall that one getting lots of play in my dormroom, which would have been late 96 or early 97.

WipEout XL (or 2097) is from 1996. Dunno he means that one. Loops of Fury, hell yeah (although FSOL's We Have Explosive is even better)!!!

Oh yeah, Wipeout was older than that... but I don't know if they've been on any other videogame soundtracks... I think I would have had em if they were.

I actually have my dad to thank for getting into the the chems, he bought EPD and it was just so diffrent from anything I had heard before. Had my first live experience in '97 at the Lollipop festival in Stockholm, I was 12 years old back then. I still remember that night and how I thought in the bus back to the parking lot that it was the best night of my life and that I would always remember it...good times, still good times...
