I will be completely useless by the time next Thursday rolls around. I'm glad I'm taking the Friday off so I can stew in my anticipation. My brain will only be focused on one thing and that is losing my mind on the 29th.
Damn. I love going to shows - I miss not being able to do that anymore and wish I could go see more concerts in general. But I guess the way it is now, when I see a show it is something so special. I love the build up, the excitement beforehand. Part of it is knowing you've got a night ahead of you where you can leave all the worries or the workweek and/or life in general behind. Just for a night. It's all such a rush and that rush is 10-fold when it comes to favorite bands.
OK. I'm getting off my soapbox.
(btw, I'm really freakin' excited!!)

I'm excited for next Friday. It's not the Chems but I've got Eddie Haliwell as part of a nice little 3-day weekend I've booked off from work. We are going to party until the body shuts down then we're going to take the magic powder that wakes me up so I can watch soccer in the morning and then we're going to party some more.
And I just dropped $900 on car audio today. Friday afternoon we're going to be a whole lot of decibels louder and I can give some albums a whole lot of love that they haven't had yet (Justice, We Are the Night, etc.).
Excited is in the house.

I cant believe in the next week im gonna see 3 Chemical Brothers shows. Not to mention my first Chemical Brothers show in my favorite venue in Chicago!!! Pumped and Amped here!!!! YES!

Whirls - be prepared for trans atlantic wasted-ness :lol: Mips and i are going to two rave ups in one weekend so, excpect some messy puppy's on the phone on saturday evening !!! :-D
