sorry 'fraid not. Sounds familiar but I don't know if it was rolling stone or another. Who cares if it is rolling stone, they probably have called Rubin Studdard the James Brown of our generation too.

Thanks Network Rail, I don't remember reading that one before!

I certainly don't remember the Rolling Stone bit but... I remember having had Beatles correlation discussions a few years ago with some people I knew on the mailing list - namely this older, wiser cool guy named David who unfortunately did not stick around for very long. Anyway, it's not an "article" from a big rag, but what David wrote I found to be so fucking cool, I've held onto it about 5 years now. Hope you find it cool, too. Enjoy!

ok so i did some diggin thru napster and i find the chemical bros live at bbc pts 1 and 2 and they both wind up with some pretty trippy beatle

bits at the end and in some other places, like i'm listening to pt 1

right now at the 23 minute marque and it's not beatley yet but it's

about to get that way i think this is the one that has tomorrow never

knows at the end about to come on and the other has what, sergeant

pepper and there's another one i found that has a muzak version of hey

jude and i've already expounded to this list about the take this

brother

may it serve you well bite on the innner sleeeeve of BGWIO which is a

snip from revolution 9 from the white album legendary acid trippin

psychedelic experiencin brain expansion pack toast master blaster

track.

so what's up with the chemical brothers beatles connexion on the cozmik

axis of infinite intergalactic harmony and pituitary glandularism oh

shit here's the muzak hey jude i got my trax mixxed up in my memory

what

the fuck is goin on here? i thought i had it right! slooooow down and

stop. now on to part 2 with a little what is that cheech and chong bit?

cheech wizard? like a fuckin blizzard? what's up with that? who knows

what's goin on. the chemicals got it goin on. hell yeah. once again

you

know itz on. n e wayz what i'm tryin ta figga is what is the deal hear

between the chem bros and the fab four from libberpool? like it's not

just some random oopsie doopsie coincidence that this link has been

established in the sunshine underground between the beatle people and

the chemical people - but since it is there fore all of us to see, i

ask

the question, just what is it? how do the chemicals and the beatles

interact with each other on the subvorticular matrix of everything and

beingness? that's what i'm tryin ta figga out. see you kidz aint been

down some of theez roadz quite yet with the droning tones of 10,000

tibetan monks and the shrieking seagulls of john lennons worst

acid-induced nightmare swarming in on your brain at 3 o'clock in the

morning while you sit underneath the golden gate bridge watching waves

crash into the base of the pillars like i have. so what right do the

chemical brothers have to invoke the holy strains of tomorrow never

knows relax your mind float gently down the stream and all that hevvy

tibetan book of the dead deep guru bullshit timothy leary is smiling in

your brain promising you the free and happy peace if you'll onlygive

him

a chance! yeah babay thechems got it goin on and they are a biggerpart

of that whole tweaky teezy swirly twirl tradition than you will ever be

able to tell your grandma about!

oh yeah

Glad you liked! David was cool, his ramblings had a touch of psychadelic poetry to them - but I have no idea what became of him, it's been over 4 and a half years.

Miloco is the name of the Chems studio - the name is a merger of the Milo studio and Orinoco studio. Rather than try to write about the history I'll let the site explain - here's a link to the studio and check out the history portion:

Something along the lines of "we help make the world better". I'm sure someone must've asked Ed to clarify on New Year's Eve!

Last I heard Ed was just in a long time relationship, not legally wed.

And never heard about Matilda's younger bro/ sis, also.

Whirly : Thanks for the Miloco link. Fuck! I couldn't stop drooling seeing their pictures. That's SOME mixer in studio one. Fuck.
