Just now was the live performance of "Golden Path". It was absolutly great!!!!! I know all the discussion about that song but live it sounded great. And it had Tom on guitar!! I am curious what all of you think about that song live. We all have read about how some of you dislike the track but this was a great little gig.

well i say 25% live. don't know if the 'hey boy, hey girl' bit a the begining was mixed live. but the vocals were live and some live effects added to the vocal too.

I'm just glad they didn't pull there studio apart to do an award show!!!

8O TOM ON GUITAR LIVE!? What's happened to the 'Brothers???
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

:'( I would have loved to've seen this!!! I hate not having mtv2 - this is the second time I've felt ripped off by my cable company. OK, I've felt ripped off by my cable company more times than that but you know what I mean. There's gotta be a way to find this diddy on line somewhere. Maybe...?

I love the fact that they made a complete stage outside of that stupid ass tent only for the chemical brothers to play on.

It is a GREAT SONG live.

It was the first time that they played the song live.

And almost all chemical fans across Europe and the ones having MTV2 in USA saw it at the same time live. (sorry whirly!!!!)

Is that amazing or what??????

I thought it was great. I thought Wayne Coyne added a lot of feeling to the song. The crowd went wild, must have been the biggest cheer of the night :)

So why did Punjabi MC win the award again? :?

Sneakerbeaters right, I don?t think it was really that live ? it looked to me like a laptop and a couple of synths ? I don?t think ed and the other matey from the flaming lips were really doing anything much bar miming tweaking the cutoff on a synth?..

Still a great great track though, good to hear Wayne doing it live??

punjabi mc? ? yep rashering the b-line from knight rider under some bollywood beats def deserved the award??apparently he?s doing a pigeon street remix next

I'm pretty sure that it was live! Live guitarist, live vocals, live synth playing, effects box tweaking, and mixing. Whats so pre-recorded about that?

It sounded a bit too precise to be fully live, but I trust the chems.

Compare that to those American poppers' performances. The whole show was just shouting and trying to top the voice of brain-dead screaming crowd. :x
