Oh goddamn it!! Why must I constantly be reminded of my geographic inadequacies?

I hope some kind soul records this and puts it up somewhere.

i hope its a full 65 minutes of the chemical brothers gig, and the calvin harris set gets its own program. i've seen nothing in the listing about calvin. they recorded everything from hey boy, hey girl onwards which would weigh in around an hours worth of matterial

I would expect that we'll get all of the Chems/UVA section, given that was one of the supposed highlights Becks Fusions were promoting, so a great version of Hold Tight London, Leave Home and BRB, and the rest of the show will be from the main set (given ad breaks on C4, probably leaves about 30 mins?)

An audio rip of it would be great as well.

Whirly - I'll be recording straight to DVD, so if nobody posts it I can arrange for copies to do the rounds.

If its everything from Hey Boy Hey Girl onwards then you're going to miss Galvanize and Burst Generator and Get yourself High :(. But... You still get to see 'Hey Boy Hey Girl'

'All Rights Reversed'

'Out If Control'

'Don't Fight Control'

'Temptation'

'Star Guitar'

'Surface To Air'

'Under The Influence'

'Saturate'

'Believe'

'Wiard/ Acid Children'

'Golden path'

'Chemical beats'

And I heard they played The Salmon Dance at Trafalgar, I don't know between which tracks they did though....

The songs you'll miss are

'No Path to Follow'

'Galvanize'

'Burst Generator'

'Do It Again'

'Get Yourself High'.

they definately should play hold tight london, there are no decent recordings of this kicking around.

i agree with what graysquire1969 said about the Chems/UVA section, they probably show this collaboration. even if the visuals were amazingly poor, espscially when you compare to the adam smith stuff before it.

Aww, 1 of my mates told me they had the entire Trafalgar square doing the Salmon dance , lying little shit <_<.

Well Glastonbury got The Golden Path and Trafalgar got Block Rockin' I see, hard to choose between the 2.

Fuck. Forgot it was on, missed the first 20 mins. At that point, was Calvin Harris, to about 35 mins in. Then Chems - short interview with them and UVA guys, then starting with the UVA part of the set - Hold Tight London's on now, expect Leave Home and BRB next.

Thank fuck for 4+1 - DVD kicks in in 15 mins time!

All good - a wee interview, and into Saturate. Then dude from ICA talked over end of it, and ads again. This is getting frustrating...

and back with end of Saturate into Believe. Nice. Hoping they keep it through to the peak.

Edit: Nearly... another interview with Tom and Ed, then with Adam/Flat Nosed George, and back just in time to hear it explode. Ah, to hear that live again... 68 days and counting. I'll keep rambling away to myself here, hope no-one objects.

Well, that's that. Seen the 2 halves, so basically it's:

CB

Saturate, but talking over end, then ad break

Back with Believe, short interviews with Tom, Ed and Adam over middle as it builds

then

A wee clip about the Becks Fusions pod exhibit, followed by Calvin Harris and the 3D Disco

and back to CB

Interview with Tom/Ed and UVA, then

Hold Tight London, more ads, and Leave Home and BRB

I have it all on DVD, but won't be able to do anything with it until after 22nd, if no-one else has it recorded (overseas work trip from tomorrow).

Anyway, tis all for now. 2am on a schoolnight! Night all.
