Was anyone listening to Radio 1 last night, just after 10:20? The played 'Tommorrow Never Knows', and then the presenter (sorry, don't know her name) went on the say that the Chems were heavily influenced by the Beatles more psychedelic moments. She played a snippet of 'Setting Sun' then a snipper of TNK, comparing the 2. Then, she played the majority of TPPR (up to about 7 minutes). I couldn't believe my ears, this was Radio 1, playing TPPR!! I thought I might have drifted off and dreamt it, but I'm pretty sure I didn't! Unbelievable moment 8)

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

be glad you don't live in Atlanta. We never get to hear any Chemical Brothers on the radio. When I do hear their tunes, they are being used as background music during a DJ's(radio personality) verbal rantings or during the traffic report. then as soon as the speaking is over, they plkay Linkin Park and or the Killers.
BlockRBeats was playd in Atlanta a number of times when it came out. Let Forever Be was played once or twice when it was released and from what I have heard Galvanized was played once. That is about all we have heard of the Chems in Atlanta since 96. I have probably only heard a Chemical Brothers tune on an ATL radio station 5 times over a period of 9 years.

Jealousy ensues, as England truly is where the music is!
There used to be a late night radio show featuring dance tunes on KROQ (Los Angeles) on Saturday nights starting around 1am. Every time I tuned in, Hey Boy Hey Girl was played at least once during the set - as the first song or somewhere near the beginning. T'was cool. I don't know if the show exists anymore - I can't bear to listen to KROQ much these days, it makes me sad. It was so cool back in the day, now it's just a heaping pile of poo.
