This message is intended for the small-minded numb-nuts who make up a tiny, insignificant minority of the Chems-loving human race.
I would just like to say, on behalf of all 99.9999 percent of Chemical Brothers fans, throwing objects at Tom and Ed whilst on stage performing a concert that you are willingly attending is NOT cool. Please do not do it.
Get a life, grow a brain, and then use that brain to think about the consequences of your actions in the future.
You never know, one day Tom and Ed might just suddenly decide that that was one bottle/glow-stick too many and hang up their headphones.
For the sake of the true fans of the Chemical Brothers, please stop being anti-social and just enjoy the gigs like the rest of us.
Cheers. :)

Seconded.
I saw Kraftwerk once about 3 years ago now, and someone threw a bottle at Florian. It hit his laptop, slammed it shut, and he stepped back and just looked at it. Everyone was scared they were going to stop the gig, but a roadie ran on stage and openned it back up for him. Luckily he kept playing... You never know with them though, they're a touchy bunch of guys apparently.
But yeah, bottle throwers are complete tools. Get a life.

If anyone throws anything at Tom & Ed (well, ok, throwing flowers and unlit spliffs is fine) while I'm watching, I will rip off their heads and shit down their necks.
what about underwear?hehe
Yeah i agree it sucks when people throw things at chems it happened on sat with a bottle which landed on the mixing desk, it really annoyed me, but it looked like it annoyed Ed more.
I think my mate throw a glowstick after the gig but it wasnt at the chems just on stage.

*reminded of Smashing Pumpkins in Germany --> Billy (to crowd): "Stoppen throwen ze cuppen!!!" James (to crowd): "Dan... ke..."*
The reverse happened the other night, apparently, when The Game was in town. He started throwing dime-bags into the crowd and encouraged everyone to smoke it... (I wasn't there, but perhaps free MJ would have made his show tolerable...)

i captured the moment after something was thrown at ed right at the end of the show!!
Was that the bottle, or something else??
Shit, what a way to end the night. Throw a bottle at someone you paid 25 pounds to see . The chems don't have to stand for that shit...
Ed looks like he's ready to throw down though - I wouldn't want to piss him off!

Rock on Ed! That look on his face, no doubt he would've given the bottle thrower a right hook if he could. Not that it was a happy moment but good on him for flippin the bottle thrower the bird. Like I said in another thread, I'd have liked to throw a bag of shit at whoever did that! }:-@
This girl I work with went to see Interpol a couple of weeks ago. She loves Interpol, and is madly in love with the bandmember Carlos. Anyway, she got there nice and early and secured a front row spot (spack dab in front of Carlos) The show went on and she was enjoying herself until some fuckwit elbowed her right in the eye. Carlos then motioned for security and had the eye jabbing offender physically removed from the venue! Needless to say, she almost fainted!

I don't know why people start doing this kind of stupid things.
As somebody already said, you pay XX$ and then you throw a bottle to them... you are stupid!
It would be cool if the Bros said something like "Okay, this has finished unless you get whoever did this, bring him on stage and start throwing bottles at him". :P
If somebody throws a bottle to us while we're playing, I'm 100% sure we would stop playing and get off the stage.
