Whirly and 'stash's son says all the music comes from England, and I'm inclined to agree with him. :D

I'm actually frustrated sometimes when I consider that 90% of the music I listen to is British (number of Scottish bands, etc., too!) in origin. I don't like to come across as one of those Anglophiles who love England because it's trendy to (and right now that's not too uncommon over here), but I find myself drawn to British music and contemporary literature. There's something about the social fabric of the society that produces more interesting art (in my opinion) than the milieu of post-WW2 Canada, especially the prairies (where I live), or non-urban-New York America.

some days ago i got the feeling that i have to listen to The Experience again for some reason. love these up tempo tracks like Your Love. Can't understand why chemicalreaction think that Out of Space is rubbish but i'm still digging that one. And of course Charly. Cool thing, i love the bassline. But my favorite on it is Weather Experience. It's such a nice build up of melody and breaks if you're looking back to the time when it was written. Man, really pioneering!

My son knows the score - such wisdom for a 7 year old!

A-fuckin-men on what you wrote.

Though I'm a self confessed Anglophile. :P

Well, the prairies produce such exciting bands as Nickelback, who are constantly rewriting the rules of creating music.

As I've already said many times, Weather Experience, Skylined and Climbatize have a really big connection.

What Evil Lurks, I like it, I like all the songs in it. :)

I guess I was a little TOO deadpan there. They suck and it's unfortunate they've got a new album coming out. I wouldn't let Nickelback fish quarters out of my ass with their tongues.
