i mean, i'd say i am one of the massive hardcore fans (without having any tattoos on my penis ;-) ) and if it was like "the person with the largest collection is their biggest fan" it might be me but there are so many factors that make someone a "big" fan.
okay, i've got an extremely large collection, trying to see as many gigs as possible, listen to them every day, got there music in mind, big part of my life and so on... but i am not "bigger" as fan as those poor guys in some place of the world tom and ed never do perform ( anType, i am sure you'll see them some day) or those who do not have the money to buy everything. i might be the biggest chems fan in my house, or in my town but in general, i am on the same level as some others, even if it might be the highest one.
and a big F*** YOU to those S***ers that few years ago didn't talk to me because listening to that "ill stuff" and now want to tell me how "good" it is :x

That bird that followed Gaz Numan around - went to every gig and even told her teachers, mates and family that she was gonna marry him?

well you at least live in california, im stuck in fucking memphis! Not a single person i know has any idea who the chemical brothers are unless ive told them. Also, half of the retards down here dont even know what "electronic music" is, furthermore, there isnt a single radio station down here that has ever played galvanise, ever!
Maybe the Chems could do an Elvis remix, then they'll get a booking in Memphis? Then we could all turn up as Elvis impersonators?
Taking your brain to another dimension!

From what I've heard, there actually is a rather cool music scene (yes, even electronic music!) in Memphis. My ol' best buddy's wife lived there for a while in '03 and DJed quite a bit (she's a damn good DJ too - chunky beats, explorative, not afraid of mixed genres, much like the Chems themselves...) She actually spoke very highly of the people in the scene there. Said they were super cool, at least compared to the folks in Tulsa. So, seek these people out. You are not alone...
