A bit of a rant here (and a request for solution, if anyone has any). I got a new PC about 2 months ago, and I just felt in the mood to listen to the tracks from Live 05. Except I can't, I get some crappy dialog box that says "License Delivery Failed". What the hell?? I wanna listen to my tracks damn it, plus I bought them legitimately when they were released.

Why is it these have any kind of licensing? Look at proper MP3 download sites like Beatport and DJDownload, on those you just download tracks and away you go. None of this licensing BS. Anyone got anyway I can play these tracks?

i've never downloaded the tracks before but you could always get them on kaza or limewire etc.

Whoops - whenever I buy something from Itunes or whatever I always burn it to CD then re-rip it back to PC in non-DRM format.

you got a problem with the drm (digital rights media) which is encoded into the windows media file. all these website apart from the decent dance music labels add drm into the files to stop piracy. have a search on google about drm for more info about what i means about your licence of the tracks.

if you still got your old computer why not try and burn the wma files as aduio tracks onto a cd. once you got and audio cd you can then use a cd audio extraction program to import the track minus the drm onto your new computer. i've done this before and it works a treat.

drm is a major pain in the arse.

Yeah, I've found a quick fix coz they're on this site under the Chronicals bit!

I can't be bothered to put the necessary components back into my old PC (had to borrow a couple to build this one), I'll figure something out. If I can find a player that isn't fussy for it, I'll record the audio through my soundcard.
