New merchandise / clothing items

On the Chemical Brothers concert in Cologne i saw parts of the new CB merchandise collection. And, to be honest, it pissed me off a little.
They had Galvanize girlie shirts (honeymelon/pink!) available, black T-Shirts with PTB-cover logo printed on front (left breast) and blue jackets with the same logo printed on the front. The jackets are quite cool and the shirts okay, but the girlies look *ahem* awful. the colours were a pain to my eyes, plus the galvanize artwork doesn't look half as good as on vinyl or CD when printed on shirts if the colours ain't right. (irish fan, could you scan pics of your galvanize shirts, please?). As well they had sticker sets but these were all new items available. They had some old logo shirts and hoodies, as well but that was it. Very small collection.
What pissed me off most were the prices: girlie for 32 euros, shirt for 30 euros and hoodies/jackets for 65 euros! i bought me a jacket but was rather angry to pay that much money. sticker sets were 6 euros - just mad.
IMO, the new shirts, as far as i know it, don't look half as good as the old ones - but are especially expensive. There were some cool green and red PTB shirts as well but they were only for the tour crew.
Very disappointed, :( :o

To BE honest, that was all shit!!! It's hard for me to say that but all the t-shirts, sweaters looked like C&A --> cheap and awful! And nothing of them were worth it to pay 30 ? or more. That has to be improved! But if you're looking at other gigs of other bands you'll see all the same less quality merchandise in order to be able selling fast... But tell me what shall i do when i'm wearing a medium or large t-shirt and i'm able to cloak whit it looking like potato-sack????

Well, maybe the unofficial merchandising will look better. :P
didn't see any so far. the "special tour roadies" :P X-D were not with them in cologne, probably because of the weather. just do it like autechre fans: make your own merch!

yeah, the stuff sold outside is unofficial, cheap rip-offs. in cologne they've only got posters to sell - they had PTB posters and on the back there was a picture of jamelia printed on! :x no clothes available as there was rain and snow that evening.
@ nerdy: could you make a pic of you wearing that girlieshirt and post it? please!!!

Heh innerwatch, I was there too, when I saw the shirts I got literally like this : 8O. Not cause they were pretty, no. Cause 30 & 65 euros, that's just insane...
Yeah! Usually they are like 20 or 25 euros.. And I expected the same for the Chems. I even had taken money so that I could buy something off the official merch stand, but that was just too much.. I know it's only 5 euros more, but prices going over 30 euros for a mere tee-shirt are a big no-no to me. And I wasn't too keen on the colours either, so.. :(

Yeah the prices were the same in Paris, 30 euros for an effing tee! People were selling those outside the venue as well, but they cost like 15 euros.. But I doubt the money would come back to the Chems so I didn't buy anything..
As i can see you truly passed the acid test X-D
