Hmmm... You know? I think chemicalreaction uses myspace but I dont know what his name is there. He and mx got into a comment war (regarding tour dates in Mexico and Detroit) on one of the Chemical Brothers myspace blogs. It was a few months ago, but you might want to check the Chems myspace and look at some old blogs.
I can try to search around tonight too when I get home from work. But hopefully he will stop by the forum and see this thread. :)

Well, I couldn't remember what the riviera theater looked like inside until my dad (who I plan to bring with some friends of mine, since he introduced me to the chems and is psyched to see them) said "wait a sec, remember in The Breakup when jennifer aniston talked about the riviera and she saw that concert there?" I really want to sit on that balcony thing, right up front.

"Hey Bosco, I just sent a message to chemicalreaction's myspace account and told him to come to the forums or to get in touch with you."
Thank you, Mia! I PMed him through the other forum too, hoping he'll get some kind of email notification for it.
If he doesnt come to this show, I'll be highly disappointed.

"Well, this is good news. I'm seriously thinking about coming to this, maybe we can do a meet up Bosco?"
Of course! And depending on the size of crowd thats comming out for this, I'm starting to think we should all pitch in and get a hotel room close to venue and party the night away after the show. I also realize some of you might be on a tight budget, but I thought I would just throw the idea out there.

its like 2 miles away from the Riviera and litteraly a few blocks away from Wrigleyville.
I also got a AAA membership that should save us like $20 bucks on the room.

This is some of the best news that I have heard in a long time.
For those of you not familiar with the Riv, make sure to get there early because if you are late and get a bad spot in the crowd, it is hard to make up for. Otherwise, it going to be a great show at a great place!!!

Well, normally I would open my house for all you chemical geeks. But it isn't technically my house, it's my parents. And although they would be pretty cool about helping all of you guys out with accomidations, the fact that the concert is on a weekday (monday) is kinda pushing it. But, hey, maybe it will be cool them for you guys to camp in the back yard or something (we have some big tents). :P
As for cheaper hotels....Im sure there is some cheaper hotels, but just not in the vicinity of the Riviera Theatre. Technically, thats ok since Chicago has some awesome public transportation. I just figured some of you guys would want to be closer to the "night life" which Wrigleyville has a ton of.
And just so you non-educated know what Wrigleyville is... it's basically a northern Neigborhood of Chicago located right next to Wrigley Field where the Chicago Cubs play.
But back to hotels... Im not sure you'll find a cheaper hotel in the downtown area of Chicago.... but you could look up in the outskirts or suburbs where I'm located and I would be more then willing to pick you guys up and take you where you would need.
Suburbs that sorround me:
Naperville (where I live)
Bolingbrook
Lisle
Wheaton
Aurora (wouldnt reccomend, kinda shady for out-of-towners)
Also, what time frame are you guys looking to stay here? Prochem you seem to be staying 3 nights but which 3?

Naperville is a really nice area with some good bars... would definately recommend it. More upscale area, relatively safe and plenty to do.
Lisle, Bolingbrook and Wheaton are also pretty nice areas. Bolingbrook is just off of Interstate 55 which makes it convenient (at least for me, coming from the southern part of the state).
Aurora is way out of the way, and as Bosco mentioned, kinda shady.
