They die happy, that's what it's all about.

Is this heartburn or heartache

I hardly even got to watch the Olympics this time around. It's not like my husband would want to sit around with me and watch gymnastics, anyway. (I'm a girl, and of course gymnastics are my favorite Olympic sport to watch. ;) )

So last night I'm in the bath, and I hear the opening to Elektrobank coming from the living room, and accompanying the song is my husband laughing. He says to me, "You have to come out here and see this!"

I dry off, thrown on my jammies, and go out into the livingroom. My husband turned on the Olympic games with the ladies' gymnastics, and he had Elektrobank playing over the stereo. And the weird and funny (and rather silly) thing is, what I saw synched up to what was going on in the television. It was like watching the video almost, and I half expected to see Carly Patterson break her ankle and a sly picture of Tom & Ed wearing basketball uniforms to pop up at the end of the segment.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

lol, I came home just in time for the ultimate rendition of we are the world by some of Amerikas finest douche bags. I never laughed so hard. :D Who knew they could fit so much fail in one song?

Lil Wayne's part was priceless! I luv him :D

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

P.S. Rest in peace Georgian luge dude. Although, I find your activity more of an adrenaline rush, then a sport. And furthermore, completely stupid. Shame they didn't make that course more crash friendly. 21 is young.

I stayed up until 12:30 in the morning watching dvr'd figure skating (yeah, I'm such a chick). Something about it unleashes my inner girlie girl. I think every girl wants to be an ice skating princess at one point in their lives - whether they admit it or not.

But damn - the skiing, the long jump, the cross country, luge... haven't seen any bobsledding yet. But it's all fantastic I think. I'm not into sports at all. But I love watching the Olympics. Winter Olympics, Summer Olympics. It's just amazing what the human body is capable of when there's will, endurance, determination and devotion backing it up.

HA!

Yep! It bit Lynsey her in the ass...twice!

Just finished watching the mens and women cross-country skiing. God, the pain and the suffering at the final stretch. One women had to be carried off when she collapsed. The Russians gave a good race btw.

More speedskating tonight!

Cross country skiing is nuts. I get tired just watching it. I've been skiing once and that's all the experience I needed to know how exhausting something like cross country skiing can be. No matter how much training you've had.

Speaking of tired. I crapped out on the couch last night watching more dvr'd figure skating. I'm such a fuckin housewife.

Speedskating is what it's all about! In Holland we are crazy about it. I am wearing my orange mittens to support our skaters! Sven, Bob and the rest!
