We went on a crawl. Started off at this place called Hennessey's, walked over to this other place called Brussel's Bistro, called Jeanie, meandered up the street and saw some guy frying on acid - slack jawed and glaze eyed (he sort of looked like his pants were around his ankles which freaked me out but it turned out he was wearing beige shorts - trying to describe this to Jeanie on the phone was rather amusing).

Then we had a few at Laguna Beach Brewing company. Stash had a lengthy converstaion with the brew master there that was akin to... probably like how it is when Tom and Ed meet their adoring fucked up legions... listened to really bad trance/houseat the brewing company put on by some local club promoting beautiful people, then decided our drinking efforts might be better served further south in town.

We stumble further south and stash is so gone at this point he's inviting people who instroduce themselves as "Randy After 5" to have umbrfella drinks with us at this place called the Bamboo. As stash is getting drinks he tells Mr. After 5 to "look after my wife man' and the everything else sort of disintegrates from there. This guy is completely wacked, I'm sure being wasted didn't help but for the life of me I could not follow his conversation at all. Like "sorry man, that train of thought left the station a looooooooooong time ago!" Felt like forever for stash to get those drinks "come on!!" I kept saying in my head, "save me from this guy!, he's weirding me out!!" And he had this sly eye that made me uneasy. What a nut.

We eventually left Randy to his own devices, walked over to the grocery store and bought some more drinks to have later on, then hailed a cab home. I tried to stay up a little later but wound up passing out on the couch.

Put a fork in me, I'm done. I'm not as young as I used to be. Just going to play it mellow til "the kids" get here! X-D

Yum. I anticipate this greatly.

Actually, we've got to get up to Huntington Beach Brewing Company. Great beer and the food was absolutely amazing. I wasn't expecting much, but had one of the best meals I had all year there. And a great view of the ocean from the second-floor patio.

.... oh, and yeah, looks like it's All Systems Go for the end of the month. Finances seem to have been secured. Yay! :D

I am currently staying alive on a diet of Diet Rockstar Energy Drink (aka liquid crack) and Cadbury Cream Eggs. My eyelids feel like they've been stapled open and my eyes are darting around like an electric eel on a frying pan. My scalp tingles. I recommend this stuff highly. Psychoactive in a way that other energy drinks are not.

Yaaaay! Darkstar is coming to Califor-nigh-yay! We''l try and hit up the Huntington joint. We'll most definitely hit up the Laguna Beach Brewing Company again, there's this beer there called "India Pale Ale" brewed on site that's 10%. stash was telling Brewmaster Bart about you. Everyone's impressed with your beer drinking journal!

Sweeeeeeet! I'm really excited about everyone coming out, it's going to be fun!

We went pricing some air mattresses yesterday, then went over about what kind of food goods we need to stock in the house. And yes, I do need to get my sleep in now because there's going to be very little sleep when you all get here!

Okay, Jeanie, you need to make Luna get a 21+ ID, because.....

Saturday April 29, at the Avalon in Hollywood.....

Josh Wink and James Holden (opening set by Casey Desmet) are spinning 9PM to 7AM and it is, unfortunately, a 21+ only show. This looks like a potentially good night out. :D

In new york, you can often buy ID cards on the street. They're not real IDs, but they're good enough if your a hot girl.

It's a start.....

Hopefully we can sort out some kind of solution to our little dilemma here. Would be a wicked night.

I wish I knew how to get a fake ID for Luna, but I don't.

If worse comes to worse, I don't mind the boys having a night out. Us girls can find something to do. I don't want Luna to feel left out.

No, I certainly wouldn't want Luna to be left out of anything either. So, hopefully we can get some sort of solution going. If not, we'll examine the alternatives. But yeah, deffo don't want her being left (emotionally or physically) behind.

you know, there's a whole genre of hip-hop out of texas that's inspired by and to be listened to, under the influence of cough syrup.
