Hahah. I've been there. But I've - gulp - done DDR competitions before, so I had to get over it. Again, guilty pleasure. You're always welcome to come DDR way the hell up here in northern California, though! :D

Vorpal, You were a DDR head too. Ahhh guilty pleasure of my high school days. Hard to beleive that was 5 years ago in my case. I just remember how much money I wasted on that......At least with with ches it's nots wasting money. It's an investment in all that is holy in music!
Yah BRB was in one of the games as well as there remix of Kylie's Slow. It's kinda ironic that they slowed down that version as well. Here's a Youtube of it

I don't think there was a arcade version though with a chems song in it....at least North American or Asian side. I know Europe got some exclusive tracks in some of there games.

You too, Ryno? Yep, back in high school was when I was a little more keen to it. Now it's more a rhythm game I pick up now and then when I have money to burn.
Lucky Europe. Still glad I got to see it for my self here, though! On the PS2 or not. Still kinda bizarre to see it in DDR format.

I used to be a major DDR fan boy until the realization that most of the music is just trance and happy hardcore.....then it just got uncomfortable. I even did a few local tourneys in my day with me looking like a pathetic fool. Good memories/bad memories with DDR.
As for games I still have, well still want to play with chems liscenced songs. Lumines 2 for PSP even with a fear that I wil get dragged into the game for days on end like I did for the first one. And World Rally Championships 2 Extreme which had Come with us and Star guitar in it. Too bad there was no North American release.

so this is a weird chems spotting almost indirect but....
watching Mr. Magorium's Fabulous Emporium over the weekend and in the opening credits I see the Under The Influence Robots. I think it was the blue ones (look at ben_js' sig) but I don't quite remember. I flipped out. I enjoyed the movie.....till the last 15 minutes where it felt like it just dropped everything.

I phoned the local radio station today and asked them to play a chems tune and they played No Path To Follow! :S But then after a commercial break, they played We Are The Night. lol, would have gone good if they didnt have the commercial break.

Hey, that's cool prochem. Commercial break aside, it's nice they played 2 Chems songs!
I was strangely drawn to a block of 3 Chems songs played on the radio nearly 10 years ago and that's the moment I fell head over heels. I'd heard them before that time of course, but it was that moment... I haven't looked back since. You never know - your Chemical Brothers request may have changed a life out there. ;)

Not sure where to put this or if it even warrants a posting in the Chemical Spotting thread, but here goes.
So, I just get a call from stash not more than 2 minutes ago (he's now at his mother's house at the moment which is why I'm writing this instead of him). He had to call and tell me he saw this guy driving a small silver pick up truck today with a bumper sticker that read: Fuck the DJ
And stash thought, "now that's not very nice now is it?"
Then he notices right above the bumper sticker is a vinyl sticker cut out that said: The Chemical Brothers
Naturally, stash had to see what this guy looked like so he sped up a bit. The "fuck the DJ/Chemical Brothers" dude had an Elvis pompadour with huge pork chop sideburns.
Bit of a mixed message all around. Maybe the Elvis impersonator is taking the whole DJ fucking literally and has the hots for Tom and Ed. Either way, there's strange people on the road out here. I wish I could've seen this person for myself.

But let me see if i can find them first before we have a slew of "yeah, me too!" links, si'l vous plait.

I don't know if this has already been discussed, sorry if it has.
I was looking for a book in a library in town, and maybe some of you know it's almost the 40th anniversary of the May 68 student riots in Paris ( http://en.wikipedia...._1968_in_France ), so there was this special section in that library dedicated to books about it.
One of the featured books kind of attracted my eyes because it was big and flashy red. It was a book showng all kind of protest posters that could be seen in May 68, and all the drawings on posters looked awfully familiar, it reminded me of something but I couldn't put my finger on it.
Until I turned to a page with this on it: http://chantsdelutte...100a199/179.gif
Then I turned to other pages and I randomly found these as well :

I'm sure some people knew about this. I think it's cool they chose a rebellious event as a source for their art.

That is a spectacular find, innerwatch!! Thanks for putting this out there. I had no idea about this, and the resemblance between the protest posters and the artwork for Push The Button is striking. I've always liked the artwork for Push The Button, being that the high contrast in the art produced powerful and in-your-face images - something that catches your eye from across the room. I've always really really dug propaganda art and protest art as well which is why I took a liking to the art for Push The Button - so it's cool to see the resemblances with the protest art from 1968 stacked up next to the Push The Button artwork.
I just did a quick search on who did the artwork for push the button and found this article - whoever wrote it thinks along the same lines I do:
http://sleevage.com/...ush-the-button/
*edit - heh, just noticed in the comments to that article someone mentioned the French protest art.
According to that article, the artist's name is Kam Tang
Again, great find! I'm all excited now!

I'm pleased to share that information with you guys !
Thanks for your link whirly, that's one awesome website.
I also saw a protest poster saying "Nous sommes le pouvoir" (We [=the people] are the power) and I think I saw Tom or Ed with that slogan written on a T-shirt once.
