Yeah, I was surprised too, considering some of the crap that made it on there. But I guess it was supposed to be 100 greatest albums ever, like over the last 50 years or something. That's an awful lot of albums. Still, would have been nice to to see Dig Your Own Hole or Surrender at least appear on there.

in german musikexpress magazine, there was a selection of top 50 albums of the 90ies. in there: orbital, prodigy, daft punk, autechre, aphex twin, roni size... but no chemical brothers

:x

in 1997, DYOH was one of their album's of the year, same with surrender in 99.

they forgot about them :'(
love is all.

Went to a playoff game this week for Winnipeg's professional hockey team, the Manitoba Moose and was shocked to hear, as one of the songs played on the PA between whistles: Galvanize.

Unfortunately, the Moose lost to Chicago Wolves, ending the season, but I was still so excited from Liverpool earlier in the day that it didn't matter. :D

SSX3 - Leave Home you mean ;-). Has anyone added that the chems were mentioned on last week's top gear? The team want to make a list of good driving songs, someone in the audience shouted chemical brothers and clarkson looked a bit taken aback, then the other guys made fun of him for being old and not having good taste in modern music X-D.

Wonder which song he was thinking of?

Star Guitar, probably. But I reckon Dig Your Own Hole is a great driving song, such an insistant beat & bass, it begs you drive at 100mph on the motorway :D

2 Sundays ago I was watching Top Gear and they were asking what the best driving song was. Someone in the crowd shouted "The Chemical Brothers!" and then the short guy was saying they wer good, while Jeremy wasn't so sure.
