Got married last year.
I have WANT engraved inside my ring, and the Mrs has NEED inside hers.
Now I want a Salmon tattoo on my back, but the Mrs says I'm mad and odd.
Am I ?
Is this really taking it too far ?!?! lol

Hmm. I don't have any tattoo's - not really my thing - but I did help design one for a friend (r.i.p.). I also worked with a bunch of folks who had tats, one went on to become one of the most amazing skin artists I've ever seen. Anyway - basic rule of thumb is pick out a design, phrase, what have you. Think on it a good long time. Preferrably a year at the least. Whatever it if you choose to put on your body, you better make damn sure it's something you want to live with for life. Because even if you opt for tattoo removal later on, you're going to have a scar as a constant reminder of what was once there even if nobody else knows what was there in the first place.
I guess the right question you'll want to ask is, can you live with a Sammy related tat on your body when you're 50?

Just read this.... Guess it's a good place to show off my tats... I'm 25, and have thought LONG and HARD before getting these.
Check out my signature for the tatt on my right arm, and I'll post the one on my left arm once I get home tonight.
"Music is Life" is tattoo'd specifically in the chemical brothers font. I chose a color that I thought matched the feeling of this. It's the brightest green I could get. It stands out VERY strong, which is the way I feel music does in my life. I got the Chem Brothers font becuase of how much their music means to me. To me, their music BRINGS life. I absolutely love this tatt, and I'm so very glad I got it.
The tatt on my left arm says, "Keep Hope Alive". This of course is in the Crystal Method's font. "Keep Hope Alive" is something I live by daily. It always reminds me that things could always be worse, and to never lose hope. This was also a pivotal moment in my life. STORYTIME:
I used to be really big into rock music, and i still enjoy it a lot. Back in '99 I went to the Family Values Tour to see Staind, KoRn, Filter, and Limp Bizkit. It just happened to be that The Crystal Method was on that tour. I wasn't even supposed to be at the show because my parents didn't allow me to go to rock or electronic concerts of any kind. Very strict household, I know. Anyway.... this other girl and I went to the show, so we had to buy nosebleed section tickets at the venue.
I'll never forget walking in and seeing the Method for the first time. The song playing, was of course Keep Hope Alive. It was an inside arena, and SO LOUD. They had the most kick ass visuals I've ever seen besides the Brothers. It was just a really amazing moment in my life. I had never seen anything like it. I knew from that moment on that my life had changed.
So that's why I got the tatts.... the meaning runs very deep.
