Heehee... I would stand to lose a lot more at this point if I didn't go than if I did. ;-)

It would take a rather significant force to cause me not to go at this point. And while I don't invite the opposite to happen, I think it's safe to say that I'll be grooving at Olympia, all things considered.

Haven't been posting much lately, and my guess its because I haven't been motivated enough to get back in the swing of things. It's been gloomy outside for too long and im definitely looking for some change in scenery. I just got my vacation OK'ed by my boss so I'm taking the last week of September off instead of the one I requested originally on the week of Aug 30.

Now picking a destination is just in a matter of time!

:( I'm jealous that everyone is going on vacation. Most jealous of Madpooter (of course).

Got a random question for you all.... Has anyone ever worked for the olympics?

I know the summer Olympics are being held in London in 2012, and the idea of working for the olympics seems like it might be a cool idea. Not to mention I'll be getting to live in another country, if I did work for them. And I could finally take advantage of surprise dj gigs or special concerts like olympia that all of you british folk get to take advantage of... I know, I'm just dreamin'

Go for the gusto, amigo.

My girlfriend gets back into town on Saturday, and I'm stoked. :)

I never worked for the Olympics or worked overseas for that matter, but I did spend a semester studying in the UK (eons ago). If I was ever given the opportunity to work abroad earning a livable wage for me and my family - I would do so and not look back. In my opinion, living abroad is an enriching experience and something every person should do if their lifestyle can afford it.

A lot can change in 4 years time, but right now you do not have a family to look after so the opportunity is ripe. I say go for it! It won"t be something you will regret. :)

@pooter

"I am the walrus. I am the walrus....I am the walrus" (yeah I know that's not the same scene but it's walter quoting)

My boss finally called me out on dating my co-worker. ahaha, took them 2 months. Funniest thing yet is their still promoting me so I will be her boss, she was employee of the year so at least I know I'll never have to order her around and you know, loose bonus points.

It's gonna be a tall order for London to top the Beijing Opening Ceremonies! The only way it can be done is to have Tom and Ed handle the music, and their crew can handle all the blingy eye candy. It'll be... a Chemical Brothers concert on steroids!

That's cute about you and your co-worker, Biff! <3 I'm really happy for you (my mother in law will be so jealous) Love in the work place makes the days go by quick. Just gotta make sure if you have a spat you check it at the door, hehe.

So anyway - I have a couple of questions for the old forumites that are familiar with the old message board. Remember when, one day, we logged on and all the curse words like "cunt" and "shit" were magically replaced by "pink flower" and "poo"?

In my current state of sleep deprivation, I'm having a brain fart and can't remember what the alternate word for "fuck" was. Anyone remember?

Biff: Three things.

1. SHUT THE FUCK UP DONNIE! V.I. Lennon!

2. You're scandalous. And the fact that you're hooking up with your co-worker is hot. Have you ever gotten it on in the back of the coffee shop?

3. "They're" not "their" and "lose" not "loose."

Thanks for the encouragement guys :). I really think it would neat to be a part of something historical like that. We'll see what the future holds... I totally support Tom and Ed for the opening Olympic ceremonies in 2012.

Whirly, what the "CHUFF" are you talking about? ;)

When they censored "cunt" to "pink flower", chemdup nearly committed hari-kari.

CHUFF!! That's it! I can now rest easy tonight. For some reason, my inability to remember good ol' chuff was driving me nuts for half the day.

Of course I wish it were the weekend! Thankfully, I can escape my mind even here at work. ;-)

It's only Thursday!

I can wait just one more day till it's Friday! I'm not that much of a workaholic but sometimes I do look forward to the weekend and some days I wish I was somewhere else (or esacpe my mind) when I'm on the job. My top 3!

1)Being with my girlfriend! The best thing that's happened to a hobo like me! Makes everyday a weekend!

2)A Chemical Brothers show! Because your eyes and ears are an escape to worlds beyond!

3)Home! A place that has a TV, food, and a Cal-king size bed, plus a gray-haired kitten that makes a great alarm clock with no snooze!

Welcome rastenn to the 'Brotherhood'!

This weekend looks pretty good. The Warped Tour, Tropic Thunder, and more. Probably had the best work day in the last 5 years.

Let forever be!

Have a good weekend Chemsters!

Tropic Thunder looks like a blast. Can't wait.

Going to see my potential college AGAIN. This time during an open house when everything is going on. I'm pretty stoked. Plus, I get to go back to Emeryville again, and the next day to Berkley. I always love shopping for music in Berkley.
