@Poot and Whirls
Glad that schools going well for you guys!

I went to court the other day to see if my traffic ticket can be reduced. I found out that I have to wait April 26 2011 to talk to a judge about:( At least I don't have to worry about paying my fine until next year!

The sky hasn't been clear for almost a week! It started to rain again this morning so I don't prefer to stay couped up in the house. I'm taking my cousin to see LOTG cause I promised her, then some time with friends to see Lesner/ Velasquez fight. No official plans for the 31yet, but look forward to November and the holidays.

Take care y'all !

Yeesh, man. Six months for a traffic ticket. And yes, you can save up to pay for that lame piece of bullsh*t.

New Rule: Your OkCupid or other dating website profile pictures MUST GIVE AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE RIGHT NOW. Don't post a picture from a year and a half ago from when you used to work out but since have decided to let yourself go. And don't expect to be able to get away with putting up one where you put three hours worth of work into your look on a Saturday night without putting up some from the rest of the days of the week.

Thank you for your time.

Going to see The Social Network tonight with my parents. Got a great shirt today, though it's purple and black, so I guess I have to expect that the odds are more in favor of me bringing home a dude than a chick. Small price to pay for being sexy...

Weird and disturbing (yet a bit funny) story in France :

http://www.leparisie...010-1120771.php

"They believe they see Satan and jump out of the window"
Apparently, a man was walking in the appartement naked, to go check on a baby that was crying. His wife shouted "It's Satan ! it's satan !", injured his hand with a knife, then the 11 other people in the appartement (why the hell were there so many people anyway ?) jumped out of the window to escape "Satan". One 4 months old baby didn't survive. The other have been taken to the hospital.
One of the most "WTF" story I ever read.

I've never seen a metro that crowded as today. There was this rally for "Restore Sanity" in D.C. as the Congress elections are almost here. I kinda got up a bit too late this morning to catch a better train. I reached the metro station by 11:30am and got to the actual event by 2:30pm. It was insane but yet so funny coz it's Halloween time and some people were dressed up quite creatively. And I happend to meet some really nice guys there. Got to say that most of the Americans I've met so far were just fantastic people.
Here are some impressions of Stewart's rally:

Thanks mate, it's hard to get good video, the camera is not the best also, but you need clear water and good light. I finally got a decent light but the water was pretty murky.

At about 2.00 in the video we were heading into a cave. it's about 4 metres wide at that point. Have to swim over a big boulder to get in, at exactly the same time a massive Bull Ray is swimming out of the cave, you can see that he sees us and stops and we do the same. It may not look like it but he is huge, the size of a king sized bed. After filming for a bit we move up a bit to go over the top of him but he moves first and comes up right under me, about 2ft below me. Got the heart pumping...

Love the video Krisper! It's hard to get a sense of scale with the size of the fish - but being face to face with a fish as large as the bull ray you encountered would have made me feel like I was somewhere toward the bottom of the food chain.

Csar, glad to see you are making the most out of your stay in the U.S.!

Nice pix, csar. Glad you're having a good time over here. If you were going to visit one event in the US this year where the people actually get it, that was it.

As most of you know, tomorrow is a mid-term election day for America, and I must say many of my countrymen scare me with their short-sightedness, poor memory and mislead conservative views. Brothers and Sisters, it sounds corny, but get out there and vote. You know the opposition will...

Gonna work it out...

Voting tomorrow, indeed.

@Csar: Gotta love The Daily Show. Jon Stewart is fantastic.

@Krisper: Jealous of your dives.

Did I mention The Social Network was f*cking excellent?

Dating is fun*!

Had an AMAZING time on Halloween Eve. Ended up dancing from 10:30 - 3:00 to some awesome DJs at a small club here in SF. The crowd was great, costumes were good, but most of all, everything seemed to coalesce into a perfect invitation for some of the most amazing energy I've ever felt in a club. Lee Coombs dropped a remix of Horse Power, though I haven't taken the time to find out which remix it was. Not the best remix, but still awesome to hear in the club, and it worked well in the set. Mmmm... damn good sets by the DJs. Dylan Rhymes, especially.

Finals are coming up for law school. Decompressing after the weekend, I'm getting slightly concerned, but it's no more than anticipation of working really, really hard for the next couple of weeks. It won't stop until the second week in December... :cry:

Pray... for... Mojo...

*Dating is not fun. Or, I should say, when you're mostly a serial monogamist, dating is dissatisfying, expensive, time consuming, and disappointing. At least, all of these things apply when you have the goal of finding, for the most part, a girlfriend, or something close to one anyway.

@Krisper
Another great dive my friend! 'jumps into pacific ocean'

@Csar
I envy you on your 'rally' trip! Good to see people who really give a damn about this country!

@Igor
I give the movie c+

@Whirls
How's school goin?

@Satur8
Yes! Let's drop them ballots!

@Poot
I think it's the 'time-consuming' bit that has the most downside in dating. I actually have NO TIME whatsoever in dating recently, due to the lack of manpower here at my job and working a good 14 days straight! 'cue violins'

I've been lacking in the energy department, cause you know, the upcoming holidays can suck the life out of you, but i've been sleeping more cause the workplace has been more demanding of my services.

Some of my artwork has yet to be printed. I've already sold one of my pieces already (ching ching)

Halloween was a blur! One of my neighbors kids was Mario and Princess Toadstool!

Don't let kids play with the iron! a neighbor of mine didn't see this and the fire department came to put out half of the house!

@ CSAR, and to think I was just there....2 months ago

4 gigs in the last week and a have to tell you about them all.

1. Mr. Scruff at Koko (Saturday Oct. 23)
- Awesome, all over the place in 6 hours (Reggae, Jazz, House, Breaks, HipHop...). Screamed like a lunatic when he played Fish. Dancing with my girl most of the night. First time I have come away with tea after a gig. walk home from Paddington was cold and weird.

2. BBC Symphony Orchestra at BBC Maida Vale studios (Tuesday afternoon Oct. 26)
- I managed to work a connection I have to make a contact in the studios with the orchestra and Radio 3. The classical geek came out for the performance. Beethoven, Gershwins' Rhapsody in Blue....AWESOME!!! Then had interview with the gentlemen I made connection with and got tour of all of the studios. Yes, I officially want to work there one day.

3. Flying Lotus at Koko (Tuesday Night Oct. 26)
- Bought the tickets for my girl, she loves FL. first two DJs were Dubstep......I still can't figure out the dancing and wobbling thing with dubstep. Then FL came on. Crazy mind trip of sound. At times I wanted to dance, then others I just had to stare and wonder. Sweet Idioteque remix thrown in. Dropped Do The Astral Plane as last encore, crazy dancing time. Took forever to get coats....but FL came out to the crowd area in a corner. Ended up saying hi. Anna got a photo with him and was really excited.

4. Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip at O2 Sheppards Bush Empire (Tonight)
- Missed Kid A :( . Misty's Big adventure was....odd, dancing man and a song called 'I want some biscuits'. Gaggle, literally 16 girls in war paint singing electro industrial native war chants.....weirdest set this trip. DLS V. SP, fucking amazing. Right up front. They have some depressing lyrics at times which are then made up for with bumping beats. The always are great to the audience boys and girls in terms of interaction.
