I've seen the brothers four times live and they are without a doubt the best live shows i've ever been to.

Each time the show is ended with the same amazing flurry of sound. I can't describe it, but i'm sure at least one person knows what I'm on about.

I was wondering if I can get a copy of that sound anywhere online in any format.

I have so many live shows.... Do you have something specific you can think of?

A similar flurry of sounds is at the beginning of some of their live shows, too.

Lemme go and take a listen and see what I find.

The concert that i saw was the last time they headlined at glastonbury it ended with private psychedelic reel and the sound at the end of the concert was tom twisting the shit out of the filter and the pitch using an lfo on one of the synths (a korg ms20 if i remember) sorry i cant be of anymore help.

i know exactly the sound you mean, as griffin says its just tom fucking with a synth, it sounds like sellotape being pulled off a reel really quickly and put through a hooooooge phaser - very psychedelic, made me rush my tits off at THAT glastonbury show. yes, i was there :)

i doubt you could get a copy online, but if you've got the chems dvd you could sample it from the end of the private psychedelic reel glastonbury performance on there??? (or alternatively get yerself an analogue synth, run it through some effects and create your own????)

LOL, you're kidding, right?
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

:)

you could do it i reckon, i doubt it would sound the same but you might get some new squiggle going - i reckon tom n ed would love that, someone being influenced by their show to go out and try and drag new noises out of there synths.

but if you DID want it to sound the same, big phaser and flange, loads of LFO and a hefty wang on the resonance i reckon ;)

Excellent! Thank you all.

I didn't know it was on the DVD so I'll got get it and sample from it.

I wouldn't know where to begin in creating it myself.

I think it would make a spectacular ring tone.
