May 13th - Wembley Stadium, London to watch FA Vase final (thats a cup for lower non-league teams, my team aren't in it unfortunately but going as a neutral).
June 17th - going to see Daft Punk at o2 Wireless Festival in Leeds.
Chems in Amsterdam looking unlikely, gonna wait for a UK date I think.

Awwww! We think you rock, too! We don't want to be strangers of San Francisco again and would like to have more frequent trips up there - plus it would give us more time to hang out.

My summer:
-> Download Festival :slayer:
-> College :boo:
Iggy - check out my friend's band on Sunday - Parikrama. I think u'll like em.
I'll keep an eye out :)
Slayer's on Sunday or Saturday? I'm actually kinda surprised finding a metalhead on these forums. I used to one, and still cherish a few of those bands - Maiden being my all time gods from that era - recently got the opportunity to even meet them and finally see em in a massive concert here in bangalore.
My friend's band (Parikrama, all are buddies, my best friend plays bass - Chintan - really fun guy - do catch up if can), gotta open for them, and Maiden really liked them - and are actually taking them on tour with them in the summer - they got em on the Download bill - kinda shocking, since this is the first indian rock n roll band that'd play big bills abroad - another friend's band Pentagram played Glasto last year tho, but that was just a one off.
Have fun mate! Would die to be there an see Deth. Slayer (I don't listen to em anymore, but hell yeah I wouldn't pass a chance to see em with Lombardo back) and Maiden again! Lucky u!

I've seen Maiden before, and I needed to see them again 8) One of the best live bands out there! To be fair, the line up this year isn't that great compared to other festivals and Download 05 where they had what I thought was a dream line up: Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, System of a Down 8O
Korn will be great and I look forward to seeing Slayer again but i'll probably get a bit father away from the tornado/mosh pit this time :P
Indian rock and roll band hey? interesting. Do they sing in Indian? I'm Indian you know but I wouldn't understand one word X-D

using the money i have saved by not having a fridge
Harsh times, not having a fridge.
That is so strange - it's a strange concept to me not having a fridge because everyone here pretty much has one, or if you don't have one then you can find one for rent or used pretty cheap.

No, they sing in English - they've been the biggest band in india for eons, and the masters of doing 60-70s covers - Floyd, Zeppelin, AC/DC (check out Nitin on vocals - Bruce was full of praises for him) - recently they've been carving a niche with their originals - mainly rock n roll fused with a bit of blues and lots of very well done tabla and violin once in a while - they'r a pretty hardhitting live act - and thank god they stick to english.
U'r indian???! That's a surprise - kindly elucidate!

I seem to be suprising you a lot eh :P Yeah i'm hindu by nature. Born in England, mother of the free. Although I was 'christened' a Hindu, i'm really agnostic. It's all very complicated, I just like to think of myself as a guy with an all year round tan :D
Any chance you can send me one of Parikramas own works? iguanapunk AT G-MaYul DOT cum.

That's a bummer your fridge broke - what a pain! Fridges are supposed to last, I remember growing up my folks had the same fridge from 1970 to 1988 and the only reason they got rid of it was because they wanted a bigger fridge (which was weird considering my brother was at college and I wasn't home that much, and my parents are the types of people where there is never, ever anything good to eat in their house). So yeah, now my parents have this enormous sub zero fridge and it's filled with dietitic foods and leftovers and mocha mix and there's not a damn thing worth eating, even when they know the grand kids are coming over. It's just weird.
When my folks lived in London they had a small fridge in their kitchen and they also had one in their garage (and later on the laundry area when they moved to a diff. place) but it was more freezer than fridge. The size of the fridge didn't bother them since they ate out at restaurants constantly, but the annoying thing for my mother was that it never got really cold and they did have to replace it.
Fridges - sorry for taking this wayyyy off topic!

Found out Roger Waters is playing at Verizon Aphitheater which is a hop skip and jump away from where I live. Lawn seats/general admission is $25 which is a way more than worth it for Roger Waters!!! I hope tix are still available when we get paid. If they are, the Roger Waters will be our son's first concert!!
$25!!!!!!!!! With Ticketbastard fees, my floor seats ran $160.... :(
