When I manage to find a ticket that is less than 50 bloody quid then I will consider going!!!

Cannot believe the prices on fleabay!!! Really want to come to the Brixton show and if I make it, I am bringing holospecs for everyone!

Whenever I do a late one at Brixton, I always end up at The End. Get the night bus to Tottenham Court Road for a quid or whatever it is these days, get into club for a reduced rate from 3ish and its open til 9 (or at least it used to be!) Tis a good place to carry on the party (or even sleep if that is all you can face!) I'll be working next day anyway!

I DO so want to go, but its sooooo expensive. I am waiting on guest list tix for Underworld next week then I will start the search for Brighton and Brixton tix for the Chems.

Found a ticket for $716. Hey don't we have to get passports to go to London? Doesn't that take a long time?

O shit, I forgot about passports... I think you can quicken the process, but for a price $$$.

If anyone's planning on travelling overseas from the US and you don't have a passport yet, do it now. I've read it is taking months these days. Even with the expedited service, it's still a sort of crap shoot. So fucking unreliable it's a joke.

Which reminds me. I need to get me and my son's passports renewed. What a pain because I need to submit a special long form birth certificate for my son because his regular birth certificate isn't good enough. And to do that, I need to go through all this freaking red tape with City Hall and notarized forms. Still though - passports are good to have for the odd time when the spirit moves you to hop a plane to the next Chems show.

Wuh ? But why dont u guys just have passports? Or is this a european thing ? maybe its because US people dont leave the US that often... I have a passport AND an ID card , the ID card i can travel in the EU, i have it with me always its very convinient!

And yeh , everything in the states thats fairly official is a pain the ass. I remember when i had to get my SSnr and when i got a 3 year work permit. This costed me around 5000 US dollar and it still took like half a year to get it.

Pain in the arseeeeeeeeee!

Not much need for a passport in Australia unless going overseas. Driver's license is enough. But yeah passport is the most official ID here, so probably should get one even if not travelling OS. I think it's about $70 for 5 year passport.

EDIT: haha just checked - it's actually over $200. $75 extra just to get it quicker.

Oh, I hope lots of you guys get together for this and overrun the venue. That would be great! I know I say this every single freakin' time, but god I wish I could join you!!

Jeanie - I think the lack of passports is an American thing. As a whole we really are isolationists to a degree and don't go outside the country much. Travel off this big chunk of land isn't that easy and it's so costly. But still - it's a good idea to have a passport. You never know when you might have to flee!
