Well, I'll say something. It was excellent. However, it exposed Reloaded as a shitty, disorganized mess. Biggest problem: Hugo Weaving was the only good actor.

Once most everyone's seen it, I'll comment on specific parts.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I cannie believe you don't like their acting, you must be some sort of Drama School teacher.

I think what your problem here is Jealousy, you couldn't make into the Hollywood Scene, so your bitter.

I can see it now, it's all so clear.

lol....

They completely lack emotion. Hugo Weaving is the only one who takes the words and makes something real out of them. That, plus subpar dialogue, equals bad.

You seem very emotional about The Matrix. ;)

You have no idea, i'm insane about the matrix, I have the first film on dvd and video, the art of the matrix, soundtrack 1, soundtrack 2, broke at the mo so I can't afford the rest of the stuff, but I love the matrix, it's becoming an obsession, I must stop, but I can't! I can't!

Every one's acting is good except Keanu's... He is suppose to be THE ONE but somehow i don't get that feeling at all.

lol... I own the script for the Matrix. Its quite a good film, but very basic. It stands out because of its original idea, and stylish, clean effects. As such, its a joy to read and watch. Reloaded and Revolutions, on the other hand, are very disorganized. And although Reloaded is messier than Revolutions, Revolutions is still flawed.

I would give them "out of ten" ratings like so:

The Matrix (1999) - 9.5

The Matrix Reloaded (2003) - 4.5

The Matrix Revolutions (2003) - 6.5

Cheers

I dug the first Matrix... a lot! You're right GLAKO, it was very stylish and the effects were out of this world. I had my reservations about seeing it but I thought what the hey. I went into the theater expecting nothing, and left feeling I was served up a real treat. I was disappointed with Reloaded, some of the scenes were tedious, and the dialogue seemed very flat and lacked the kind of emotion I'd hoped for especially between Trinity and Neo. I thought I'd give Reloaded another chance so I rented it, but... well, I stand by my original thoughts. It wasn't terrible don't get me wrong, I can see where it is appealing, lots of folks I know loved Reloaded. As of late, I'll probably wait for Revelations to come out on rental. Though I did hear it was all around better than Reloaded - who knows, maybe I'll catch a matinee.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Just the special effects in Revolutions will blow you away, coupled with the story it makes an amazing film.

Glako: The matrix, simple? I don't think so, how many people said they were confused by it, and still are.

People who didn't really like Reloaded at first didn't understand it, when you think about it, which these films require you to do, you enjoy the film a lot more.

I felt the acting by Keanu Reaves was perfect for the role of Neo. I know there is a lot of bitching about it on the Internet, but I disagree. Respektay!
