So if you follow Ed on twitter, within the last while ive picked up on the fact he seems to be writing something a book or something.

mentioned he has great respect for writers
lots of stationary mentions.
Grammar and structure questions.
today asked how a pages document can be viewed on PC
makes mention he needs a temporary secretary...

i mean he is good friends with John Niven so maybe hes got inspired.....i dunno just seems.......strange.

I would read a book if he wrote it!

But maybe this has to do with Ed writing term papers, preparing for lectures. He's the studious type, being back in school n' all.

Well, he also tweeted about Harvard style referencing, perhaps it's not a book, perhaps it's project for College or University.

What's he working towards? Will we have to call him Dr. Simons soon?

No idea, but I seen on his Twitter he was looking at Harvard referencing and also essay-proof check. It's definitely either being graded or he's producing a report for something or someone else. Be cool to know what it is he's up to! Geeks ftw 8-)

He did go to University in Manchester, can't remember if he finished his course, perhaps this is what it is?

He graduated from Manchester, so Ed's academic pursuit these days is a different thing, and different field of study. He's been back at school for some time now. More than just a year or 2. He loves being a Chemical Brother but he enjoys school and he works hard. How cool is that? Anyway. Not sure where he finds the time, though! Ed's a busy man!

Yeah, hope he reveals what happened to the hair of one of his protagonists during the 4th installment. And maybe we'll get to know the reason for the fire alarm at roundhouse.. Was it the evil King Leon or not? That's all gonna be revealed soon!

Both him and Tom studied History when they were in Uni in Manchester. Maybe he's writing a thesis on their history of chems albums? :?:

Here is a story from the telegraph where they reference their University career.

Do we congratulate him already Dr Simons! :) Godspeed! Do tell us fans what u upto! We still worship every bit of you like geeks after all these years. Show up soon and also give us some juice on new chemicals. Withdrawal. Thanks to Tom we've bad some juice flowing off and on but what the world needs a new chemical order.
If Ed's free'er soon do we see them getting back to studio? I don't really want a slew of Dj Sets too long .. I am hoping they are going out again on road to test new chemicals before going into studio!
