http://www.cgs.synth..._generator.html

Guess the obvious question is whether it was used on the track of the same name...

I'm hardly sure either, and I'm trying to build a modular synthesizer.

It appears that burst generators are circuitry which output pulse signals of equal length, which may be used either as a controlling signal for a step-sequencer or may also be used to generate percussion based on fast, single noises such as washboards. It seems like it may also have applications for appregators. The burst generator was probably used to make that "tataTaTA-tataTaTA-tataTaTA-tataTaTA" noise in the song, Burst Generator.

That is my general understanding of the article.

It looks simple enough to build.

Can you build it Prochem? Do you know how to do that 'circuit' stuff?

Yes, i'm gonna do an electrical engineering program in the fall. I've also been building basses+guitars for a while now. I'll take some pictures of it if I do build it.

The sound in the track is an ARP-2600 with some randomised parts.

Was this used in sequencing?

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.
