why is it locked anyway? fear of copyright breaches? I'd be grateful if that thread was open as I am also desperately looking for one song which I only have on vinyl but want it in digital for my iPod but cannot find it anywhere as it was a vinyl-only release.

It's locked because back when the forum distinctions were less visible, somebody posted it in the "Track Suggestions For Singles Bonus Disc" section. Naturally that section is far less relevant now and was one of many that got locked when the forum switched over to its current state. I think all you need to do is ask if it could get moved to the Chemical Talk section.

I moved the thread, but it unfortunately makes no difference as to which forum it's in because it's view only. I'm not able to Unlock (there were a few threads like this that got permalocked when we switched to the new forum) so there's no way to gravedig and revive the thread. I haven't any way to override the lock, either. Sorry...

But honestly I don't see the urgency to pester him. It's an old thread that nobody has thought about in ages, and it doesn't affect user functionality. Nobody is adversely affected if the threads remains as is.

They must have done a forum upgrade yesterday, I noticed the whole server was down for much of the day. For the first time ever I am getting email notices about posts people make. So I guess the whole email member problem has been sorted :mrgreen:

They wrapped up their US tour some time ago. The last time they were in California was last April.
