Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun
It's been a while since I last listened to this, I forgot just how good it is. I think it's the most in-yer-face Chems song ever, it just grabs you and screams "listen to this!" at the top of it's beat :)
I think I most enjoyed this song when I decided to get retardly stimulated before going to a club. Was driving to the club listening to Dig Your Own Hole at high decibel levels and then stopped off for a large cup of coffee, 3 caffeine pills (one of which I crushed and snorted for some stupid reason), and 3 Red Bulls, which I consumed all within 3 or 4 minutes.
Now I don't need anyone to lecture me on the health risks associated with that, but I tell you, Setting Sun was genuinely frightning. I was scared shitless and loving every second of it.
A shame the night ended at the worst trance night I could possibly imagin, but.......

And yes, I understand that the stimulants consumed in my last post are nowhere near the levels produced by some illegal stimulants I know of, but I can imagine Setting Sun while on speed.
Now playing: Madonna - Hung Up.
This song will NOT go away. Just d/l'd it. Couldn't handle not hearing it for a few hours. Need to dance. And dance. And dance.

As stash found out when he was visiting Texas, ephedrine is legal over there so he brought a bottle home. They took it off the market in California a few years ago. The final straw was when these two 14 year olds took way too much and their lungs collapsed and it was thought that taking it off the market would make meth production would go down (it didn't, it got worse actually). Then a while later ephedrine was brought back on the market, then pulled off the shelves a couple years after that.
I enjoy stimulants. As you got to see first hand I drink way too much coffee! ;) I love the rush. I've taken loads of ephedrine and used to indulge in taking ritalin for fun on occasion. Good times, within reason.
Meth is a massive turn off. Not because it's something I'd turn my nose up at (no pun intended) but because it's probably the drug I am most afraid of. Moreso than the usual suspect heroin. But with meth I know I'd like the rush and being the kind of person I am, I really wouldn't trust myself. Better to stay away, for me I think.

Couldn't have put it better. I've heard alarming statistics (not like stats are inherently believable, but still......) that something like 90% of people who try meth once eventually become addicts. The number is probably crap, but it's still frightening.
I love stimulant rushes and I know I would enjoy the rush off meth far too much and so I need to keep that one at arms' length or further. Will still with the pills, thank you very much!
My attention span is degrading worringly fast and I get bored really easy these days. I'm not sure I don't NEED ritalin! I wouldn't mind trying it at any rate.

Kylie - Sweet Music
Body Language is sounding a little bit dated already, but it's sheer pop music so not really surprised. Still some top tunes on here, though.
Must say though, as much as I like the album version of 'Slow', the Chems version is a sex machine. It does not matter where or when I hear that tune, I become ready to get down. Be warned, females of Turnmills, if Tom & Ed drop the Slow remix, I may pull a Clark Kent to leghumper phonebooth transformation. This tune is a v + e combo sonically transmitted!
