And I was in Alsace-Lorraine in 1997 when Jan Ulrich won the Tour de France. We had a visit in Strasbourg and a river kayak tour down the Ill. Was a great place to be. Nice landscape and nice people but my French was very poor - as it is nowadays (unfortunately).

The French entry was great, really made me smile. Didn't see the UK entry but can it have been that bad?
The Spanish one however...that was just wierd.
The UK came joint last anyways with Germany and Poland, surprised the Poles didn't get any votes from the diaspora over here!
