It's been told in an interview by Pedro Winter (Busy P), manager of Daft Punk (or should I say ex-manager because he already said in that interview that he stopped being their manager) that Daft Punk are in the studio right now in Paris, preparing their 4th studio album !

It's great news. I hope their "studio" is more than a drummachine, a sampler, a guitar and a pedal. I don't want a Human After All bis.

I'm gonna go stalking to find their studio and then I'll hide between 2 synths !

Thank GOD there's someone on here who properly appreciates DP's brilliance. Meanwhile Chemical Brothers fans get worked up over a Greatest Hits album.

More music is always good, as long as i'm not paying $25 for it like I did with Human After All.

Not that I don't mind. Coachella 06 was still one of te best gigs of my life. I agree that Human after all was forgetable. but here's what i think.....

The worlds population of coke head scene hipsters heads exploded leaving us covered in blood and coke......

sorry to be graphic. It just seems like the whole trendster society has latched on to Daft Punk.

I feel a little hipocritical cause the animé geek in me still loved the fact that Guy and Thomas teamed up with Leiji Matsumoto for Interstella 5555. That was big for an electronic music geek and animé geek like me.

I'm in complete agreement with Ryno.

However, I didnt care much for 5555, but love their old Alive 1997 album.

Alive 1997 ftw. Oh, I realized that I downloaded a set of theirs from the Rex Club in Paris circa 1997, and it's AMAAAAAZING.

There are only a few tracks on Human after All that are listenable and good. But the way that they took all of their material and performed it live... Mmmmm... fucking sweet.

I played their set from Coachella for one of my rideshares up to Oregon. He didn't like electronic music at all, but halfway through the said he said, while in a trance, "Fuck! This is so fucking good!"

Well I'm going to pretend this will be their 3rd studio album after the shambles that was Human After All :P so expected release date is 2014?

hahaha, right :)

I still believe in a new masterpiece. A few years ago, Fatboy Slim said that house was dying, and that we needed a new Daft Punk album (that was before HAA). I hope this one will be a revolution and will take Norman out of his new cheesy pop stuff.

Oh Norman... how I miss thee... come back from the place, wherever it is, that inspired you to make Palookaville...

I will have to say that HAA was a good album, although it's worth less than dog shit compared to their predecessors. Daft Punk was the group that got me into electronic music, so I try my best to like everything they make. I am excited for the new album.

HAA was good only on their live. Mixed with the rest of their material, it was pretty good. But the album is purely lame.

I've always felt that every DP album was missing something, like they had untapped potential. And then Human After All came along and, well, let's just say I've lost the faith. Not looking forward to any future albums..

I just looked over at my HAA 12". It's got so much dust on it from sitting on the top shelf. Maybe i'll try spinning it later. I've forgotten what's on it. All I remember is that robot rock gave me a headache.

It's definitely lame how much Robot Rock sucks.

I only really liked Technologic and Human After All on the album...

I never liked Technologic although its better live. Yeah good news about a new album, will watch out for it! Have to laugh at iggy's 2014 comment though :).
