yes they did play believe and Hold Tight London. I really liked the album version but the live version is a hundred time better. The 3 tracks Hoops, Believe and Acid Children were really realy really really fucking great.
I've checked on my MD if i did a mistake, but my setlist is the right one.
I was a little bit disapointed to get the same setilsts as in the Australian tour because it was not totally different from the last summer tour

Oooh, My, God... That was so incredible ! I was on the first rank too, against the barrier, exactly in front of Tom & Ed. I still don't realize the chance I had, I guess my coming 4 hours before the opening has been rewarded.
We danced, we jumped, we shouted, that was crazy... The moments where I was jumping and shouting the higher I could with my hands toward Tom & Ed, trying to catch their attention and finally got it, were amazing...
I wasn't very surprised by the fact they played Hold Tight London, because we heard it earlier through the doors when they were testing the sound... but that was still an incredible moment.
The two best hours of my life for sure. I wanna see them again... :'(
I'm gonna write a review (In french I think) with a lot of the photos and videos we took, I'll warn you when it's done... Here's some examples of photos :
Photo 37 (click)
Photo 61 (click) (Yeah we were really close to the scene)
Photo 64 (click) (Hehe)
More to come... I wanna see them again... :'(
Ben_j, you recorded the show ?

Benjamin tt o ??? J'ai parcouru la salle un bon bout de temps et je t'ai pas trouv }:-@
Well, it was an amazing light show and the sound was ENORMOUS, specially on "Come inside" and "private psychedelic reel". They played believe and also hold tight london! It's wonderful on live. With my friend we were dancing and smile like that :D because at the end of the set it's a sweet ... """"" deep house-jungle""""" mix. Not violent, not downtempo, PERFECTLY !! I enjoyed it and when i heard the bass "doumdoum.. doumdoum.. doudomdoum- pompoum doudoum-poumpoum" I said : "oh !!! hold tight london !" There was pictures of london and it was a pretty moment on stage.
The visuals of believe are amazing !! chruches, 3D effects, movements of the pictures ans the loud BASS , but like Ben j said, after Hoops, it's POWERFUL ; I was tired after hoops (i dance like a drug monkey lol) but when i heard the bass of believe i said to myself and my friend "they want to kill us !" But i'm a chemical dancer and i dance more and more, jumpin' higher than all the crowd ! }:-)
I will make a complete review for Planet Dust. Just a little disapointed that the set list looked like a little to last summer tour (music response- rockin' beats-come inside-under the influence-it doesn't matter-out of control- star guitar-surface to air-hoops) but it was a fuckin' good set, i thin that they played 1hour 45 or 2h! It's not all the time for their live stage !!
Sorry for my bad english, you will find a complete review (i didnt' talk about galvanize and the big jump) soon, for Planet Dust, when my internet connection will work. For people who will see them in england HAVE A ROCKIN GOOD TIME :)

what else to say about this show???? well, this gig was really mind blowin!!!! it was the fourth time i ve seen them.... and it was probably the best live show i ve ever seen!!!! the light show and video were particulary good (much more than their past gig) with a progression in the use of the different screens (they started with one or two screen just back from them and more the set go "deeper" and more they used more screens.....sorry for my english.....).
About the new stuff played, i just want to say: GOD BLESS BELIEVE!!!!!!! WOW, really really incredible!!!! much better than album version (which is very good...) but everybody could imagine how rocks this track live....;).
I was a bit disappointed with galvanize..... played slower and a feeling of something missing.....maybe this track will get better after few gigs......(this is my point of view).
About Big Jump, i was surprise to heard it but very happy, really good live track, played very close from album version.
Come Inside and Surface To Air have been already played in their last summer show but always so good, especially SurfaceToAir wich is one of the best song ever written by the Chems, very very cool track with a feeling of flying over the clouds......
And Hold Tight London.... i think the big surprise of this set, i didn't expect this track at all but played just before TPPR and it was really good.
In conclusion, i ve spent one of the best times of my Chemical life, Zenith is f****n good place to see the Chems, the sound is incredible!!!!!
I just want to say to all whose haven't had their ticket for the next Chems Gigs yet......... GO AND BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!

Hi there !
I've read all the former reviews and I don't really have much things to add.
The DJ played good tunes... but 2 hours (from 7 PM to 9 PM) is too long...
The show in itself was incredible. The lights, the music... same tracking list as in august (plus the news songs).
I was near the V-J's... I was fighting not to look at their monitors... but I couldn't resist :)
Finally, I managed to know what song was next in line :)
A few thoughts, ...
First : I was a bit disappointed by the beginning of the gig. Why did they play "Hey Boy, hey girl" at the start (just like in august in the festival "Rock en Seine") ?
Don't misundertand me, I love this song, but it should have played in the middle of the show.
The beginning of the show in 2002 ("Come with us") was much much more better...
Second : the mix of "Out of Control" and then "Temptation - Star Guitar" were simply in-cre-di-ble. The Brothers tend to make them better and better.
Third : the news tracks were great.
I was struck by the pictures on "Galvanize" (I think the tempo was slowed down, btw) : planes, bombers, soldiers well... in a word : war ....
and then : fists coming out from a city, fists appearing among TV areals.
I was completly mad and dancing all the way.
"Believe" was also really powerful !
"The Big Jump" was pleasant.
Fourth : I still can't believe that mere human beings can create such a powerful track as EBW7 :) What a shock !
Fifth : I was really disappointed because they didn't play It Began in Afrika... :(
Sixth : just in case, they did play Hold London Tight. ;)
Great sound, great pictures (views of London : fountains, etc.)
Seventh : the music wasn't loud enough... but surprisingly, and at the end, the sound system couldn't support the rush of sounds... and I heard strange things on TPPR... some of the samples were not played in the same tone !
Finaly, it was an incredible show though the order of the setlist could have been better...
And at the end, my wife offered me the "Push the Button" T-shirt so everything is ready for the next gig :)
ps : Ben J, do you plan to share your recording of the gig ? ;)

By the way, have you noticed that some samples on "Come Inside" are not the same than the album version ?
In fact, they were the same than the version they played in august in France.
Some of the beats were taken from "It began in Afrika" and voices taken from "Chico's Beats", I guess.
Another memory : the final picture if "Come Inside" is a barbwire...
Creepy isn't it ?
It's funny how some details are coming back to my memory from time to time :)
Just another one : at the end of the gig, the screen was displaying a message : "Saving data.... Work completed.... End" ;)
Any other details, anyone ? 8)

this show was really wonderfull 8O .
i liked the dj on the first part he played somme of my favorites tracks like pleassure from the bass by tiga or gehts noch by roman flgel but i don't really like the new daft punk is only a sample looped with a break.
