Does anyone know what time the Chemical's will be on stage next Friday ? Gates open at 4.30 so I'm assuming after sonic youth the chemicals may be on at about 7 or 8 o'clock
I've seen the Chemical's 3 times - Manchester 1997, Glastonbury 2000, and Creamfields 2004, can't wait for this gig, their awesome live !
Whats other Chemical's fans doing before and after the gig ?

No buses just for the gig but good old public transport available via train or bus. I think there are deals on the latter at the minute.

well its been fuckin pissin down for two days solid where i am, im just hopin that the distance from donegal to dublin is far enough for good weather. heres hopin. btw any of u guys goin to basement jaxx underworld n mylo on saturday?

it's started to clear up here in Dublin at the moment and I hear it's gonna be dry tomorrow so fingers crossed!!
Yeah I'm going on Saturday to Underworld-cant wait. I just hope i'm not too fucked to make it up off my couch after the Chems to head back to Marley Park. Gonna be some session, am off work till Tuesday to recover and come down!! 8O

cheers NUL, getting the train down & gonna take my chances with dublin bus to get to the gig. was talking to someone at MCD today, they say chems are on stage at 8.45. this will be my first time seeing the chems outdoors, cant friggin wait! wat does every1 reckon is better, indoors or out?

You can get the bus from Burgh Quay. Just opposite Eden Quay on the day of the gigs..
I seen them when i was down in dublin for the coldplay concert.. i was going to use them to get there but instead we got a taxi.
You can get them from there and then you can get them back to there again.. It costs about 2 or 3 euro.
Im almost certain thats what it is anyways :/

I would also love to go and see Underworld and Mylo but I simply can't afford it. Its a pity there wasn't passes on sale to gain admission to both Friday and Saturday night at a reduced rate, say �50 -60 each. I think the ticket on offer for both weekends is good value but only really suits people who live in the Dublin area, why can't there be a pass for the mainly dance weekend?
Anyway, less of the moaning, I can't wait for Friday night, it will be the first occasion I've seen the chemicals since they released their last album.
What tunes are people looking forward to the most ?

Well we loved the gig to if ypu read the thread correctly.
And there's a BIG difference between crowds and fucking animals u know.I've been to metal concerts and those peeps where angels comparing to the Dublin gig.I'm not somebodly who's complaining quickly cause i agreee , if u dont like crowds dont go to a gig. But this wasn't a matter of not liking crowds u see. This was a matter of me being crushed and almost not being able to breathe.

i didnt get to the chems, but got to see Mylo, Underworld and Basement Jaxx. absolutley mind blowing. Mylo was how i expected, great but a short set. underworld played for ages and got the crowd goin mad, never thought they could be so good live and Basement Jaxx just simply rocked the house. a good weekend was had by all most definately!!!
