They've certainly made a big statement on their Soundcloud page underneath that track. Lets hope 2014 brings us great results from the creative period they're talking about.
For some reason Moderat decided to keep Last Time as a bonus track for the 12-track deluxe version of "II". They clearly like the track as much as the rest of us though, as they've now chosen to release it as a single. I saw the physical, 10" release of this in Rough Trade records during the week for...£18.99. Ptthh! Taking the piss methinks. Anyway those of you who rated both Jon Hopkins and Moderat in 2013 may be interested in the track below. I believe Mr Hopkins is/was supporting Moderat on some of their live dates. I wanna see Moderat live in London next month but both nights sold out. Boo.
Oh, there's a new 3 disc Tour Edition of the album just out too. All the bonus tracks and mixes you could want.
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.
"Even though these Belgian records sound very "now", they are actually 20 years old and were meant to be played at a much, much faster speed. At the time this was the devil's music for us, but we have learned to listen through the claps and distorted kicks and discovered that if you slow these really dark and heavy techno records down all the way to about 115 bpm, it suddenly makes them sound less frantic, ballsier and a lot sexier.Belgium at its best when pitched down."
I think I've exhausted my soulwax radio app and this is one of the favourites I play over and over. The mixes on my app now sound like they are underwater now. Thought it was my phone but its the app. The other belgian one is worth a listen too. The disco one is another old fave.

U2 might not be as great as this anymore, but their new song Invisible isn't all that bad. Very spacey. I was going to post something about that but started listening to this again. Heavy tune.

Hey I've been playing Advance Wars 2 lately ! All Advance Wars game have great music
Nice! I've recently got a phone that supports emulators and I've been playing loads of the first game. Have to agree with you on soundtracks except for Days Of Ruin/Dark Conflict - nasty gritty metal techno, not in the good way. Almost the whole reason why I didn't play that one much.
As I'm watching the Berlinale film festival opening the band The Asteroid Galaxy Tour caught my attention - didn't know them before. Those two songs they performed were kinda cool. I like their style ranging from electronic touched pop to breakbeatish funky something.

They caught my attention 4 years ago when i first heard "Around The Bend". I really like their style + Mette is something for the eyes. You should really listen to "Around The Bend", "The Golden Age", "The Sun Ain't Shining No More", "Mafia" and "Suburban Space Invader". "Heart Attack" have you already heard.
They did a lovely acoustic session two years ago here in cologne.
