The Chemical Brothers will play peacemakers when they unite indie adversaries Oasis and Bloc Party on stage.
The veteran dance duo are set to perform at the BBC's Electric Proms in October.
it will be the first time they have had all their guest vocalists - including Noel Gallagher, 40 and Kele Okereke, 25 - with them.
The war of words began in 2005 when Oasis dismissed Bloc Party as "a band off University Challenge".
Kele retaliated earlier this year, calling the Gallaghers "repetitive Luddities" who "made stupidity hip"
My well-placed referee said: "There's bound to be some friction backstage."
Should be some party.

sadly the daily star doesn't archive it's newspaper online so i had to type out what it wrote in its music section . it said all vocalists but i doubt they would be able to get all them there. one band definetly not doing vocals are the klaxons as the are in australia that week on tour.

Ah - OK. Thanks irish, I knew you'd be able to offer some clarity in my early morning haze!
Live vocal collabs would be a site to behold. Stuff of legend.
I wonder if Richard Ashcroft will be there. If he performed the Test on stage... be still my beating heart.

Will the play one night or all nights? And will the vocal performers be spread over all the nights if they play several nights?
If it's a one night performance that would be an awsome setlist:
Life is Sweet
the Boxer
Galvanize
Salmon Dance
Let forever be
Setting sun
the Golden Path
Close your eyes
Believe
Hold tight London
Where do I begin
the State we're in
the Pills won't help you now
the Test
wow now that I typed this I wanna go! :)
