that's cute Ryno, but me and whirls were married before the existence of the worldwideweb.

oh yeah, I also figured out the only way to define Chems Fan.... you gotta have more than 5000 posts on this forum. Everyone else are poseurs.

fuck that shit stash, I'm the 2 or 3rd oldest member on thus board and I'm not even at 2000 yet! No offense to him, but prochem has matched and exceeded my post count in the bracket of like 3 months. I've been very reserve with what I post often, even though I check this board like twice a day. Guess that makes me the quiet kid.

plus, the older pre-come with us version of the forum didn't have a post count (or registered user).

Woohoo, this is my 1500 post!

In reality, I think your post to day ratio to be considered a fan is usually around 1 post:1 day for any amount of given time....but what do i know being a fan now for 9 years (3 of which on this board)

The fact of the matter is, your a true Chems fan when you drift off into your own little world, for example at work, you might be photocopying a 1000 pages, what are you going to do while you wait? Go chat to one of your workmates about how well the company are doing in shafting you, or.....Pretend that the photocopier is in fact Tom's Mixing desk (look at all those buttoons and flashing lights) and imagine you are infact tom, playing a gig to thousands of festival moshers at Glasto, and looking out at a sea of teeth gleaming at your genius! You look around, there's someone looking deep in concentration through the filing cabbinet, thats not just anyone, thats Ed doing his thing!

If you think like that, then I'm sure you are a pretty big fan, and exceptionaly close to being sectioned.

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

I cant stop laughing at the look on Bosco's face in that pic on the first page... lol... I cant say I blame him either...crazy lucky...

My question for Bosco is, when was that pic taken?

Anyone know? I have my reasons for asking.

That beautiful pic of Bosco with Tom and Ed was taken in September of last year, shortly after their set at Nocturnal Wonderland.

(sorry Bosco, I couldn't resist being your spokesperson!!)

Really?

So he saw them in Chicago like I did, then floated on over to Cali, to see them there as well?

Then he got what he deserved.

Thats an insane tid-bit.

Thanks.

@jacksrevenge, I think I was being sarcastic back then.......I don't remember.

If you listen and you like the chems, your a fan.

If you post here your a fanatic.

If you post here and are one of the ones who will hunt down the rare recordings into other countries....well your the 'freak of the week'.

Well said Ryno!

Doesn't take much to be a fan of their music!

But I think the younger crowd in this forum are much bigger fans then I am. The next generation of new fans will keep the Chems going till I get an hearing aid!
