Its an Ireland festival held in Dublin. Its very mainstream to be honest, however there are some pretty decent acts this year I want to see.
The line up is:
SATURDAY 8 JULY
The Who
The Strokes
Arctic Monkeys
James Brown
Richard Ashcroft
Primal Scream
Editors
Eels
The Magic Numbers
The Go! Team
Hard Fi
Damien Dempsey
David Morales
Timo Maas
SUNDAY 9 JULY
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Kaiser Chiefs
Paul Weller
Franz Ferdinand
Bellx1
Pharrell Williams
Sigur Ros
Manu Chao
Goldfrapp
Placebo
Damian Marley
Ben Harper
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
The Kooks
Felix Da Housecat
Errol Alkan
I'd say I know most there, but definately not all. I want to go see Primal Scream, The Go! Team, Felix Da Housecat, James Brown, Placebo, Goldfrapp, The Who, The Artic Monkeys and Ive heard Timo Mass being mentioned on these forums, So yeah i'd probably go check him/them out.
Tickets are around 110pounds. For Both days and Camping. As for the relevance of this post, Im thinking of going, its like a 90% Im going, or going to try :P
I want to go to a good festival this summer dont know whether to go to that or the electric picnic, but the electric picnic havent released any names or line ups. No one to go with etc. So i think this will be good..
Wish me luck... eh?

You should go, Foxy. Primals, Goldfrapp, Richard-friggen-'A'-Ashcroft, Timo Maas, Ben Harper (who's really good, so talented) The WHO!!! What a wicked line-up!
James Brown played at a Blues Festival not too far from my house and the record store I worked at had a booth there. One of my coworkers said that James Brown kept saying "James Brown!" and "Good God!!" at least once every 5 seconds. X-D

be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Yeah, I know, it should be really good. Now all i got to do, is go into town tomorrow and buy it. Then see who's going, and what im going to do to get there back and where im gonna stay etc. Thats all longterm stuff but I dont want to end up going with just a few people, I want a big crowd of people I know :D

Aye, i found out Irish Fan, Im raging :P
Went down to buy my ticket today and asked a guy about it and he said sold out then went to ticketmaster they told me the same thing.
Completely ironic too, i was gonna buy them last night, sat down with my mums credit card but said ill avoid whatever added taxes and go down and simply buy them myself at the outlet in cash and everything.
Sold Out. Bummer.
I suppose its kinda good i didnt get one cause, I hadnt even planned who i was going with or anything. If im really determined i can buy one from a ticket tout or someone who's simply passing one on.
Unlucky definately.

Jeez, Thanks Irish Fan... Faithless and Prodigy theyd be good to go see again :D
However, a guy from oxegen website has told me that MCD are just trying to stir a panic regarding tickets. He said its so people will panic and when they go back onsale again buy more tickets make it actually sell out.
Dont know if its true but I hope so, i really wanted to go see The Go! Team X-D
Im going to look into that Hi Fi fest anyway Irish Fan, Cheers.
