I was at the Beach Party last night up in Portrush, it's an event that seems to be getting more and more popular each year here in Northern Ireland, some of you guys have probably heard of it, it has only been on about 3 years I think I'm not all that sure. Fat Boy Slim has played in the recent years, but last night Happy Monday's Pete Tong and Basement Jaxx headlined. There was also, DataRock, Scratch Perverts, Alloy Mental which were all fantastic.

It was good to finally see Pete Tong - He was pure giving it stacks.

I'm not the biggest Basement Jaxx fan - although I am aware of their capabilities and their major tunes. They put on a really good show, I was up at the front most of the time for them - the whole live experience was really good like the singers and their costumes, and how they changed every song and stuff for it.. Was really fun! The best part of the Concert was near the end when they came back on for their encore [ I think anyway :P] But Felix just rolled into the next song which was 'Wheres you Head at' - regardless if its a headmelter song, it was SUCH a tune, and literally everyone recognised it of course, and went buckin' apeshit! Then Felix just came out to the front and was really giving it 90'. Pure on going nuts on the stage, whilst everyone was singing along to the words of the song, and jumpin up and down, it was all such good fun. I think that was the highlight of the night afterwards me and my friend headed back to Thompsons and seen Stevie Boyd playin - twas great, was up to '6 in THE MORN'. Then got some sleep, feel like death now and my voice is gone.

Its all good and harmless fun though its preparing me for the big one next week IE Oxegen. Which will no doubt be a complete scumfest and all that, but regardless I still have to prepare for the battle, my liver can handle most, but I think some training will do it some good in the sense i need to pace myself :P Cause lets be honest its gonna be one hell of a battle next week.
