Just discovered:

Com Truise - In Decay

Some might recognize the sample in the song at 40:36 ;)
E(argasm) = m(usic) x c(hemicals)²

^ yep some some nice stuff there. From the new, such as Erol's Bang, to the old - I Travel by Simple Minds (they missed the 'I' out in the tracklisting). I always thought that track sounded ahead of it's time. Anyone here too young to remember pre-stadium Simple Minds could do worse than check out tracks like the original of I Travel, Theme for Great Cities (sampled big time by Raven Maize 20 years later, as well as La Tour's Blue), In Trance as Mission, 70 Cities as love brings the fall (1st use of a chainsaw as musical instrument?), Love Song, The American, new gold dream (sampled big time by USURA), Big Sleep...

Digitalism have also thrown us a Christmas gift to DL in the past couple of days: https://soundcloud.c...grim-digitalism

The melody reminds me Get Lucky a lot ! But apparently it was released at the same time.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
And I will rape
Each one of you

This one can do no wrong. Also the fastest track he's probably made: The whole EP is worth listening from start to finish:

Also, I'm sensing a 90s breakbeat/big beat revival from recent works from Erol and even this one and others.
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Someone mentioned Cocteau Twins when I posted that Ballet School song back there, and I finally decided, after hearing that name dropped everywhere, to actually find out what they sound like. Checked out Treasure, so glad I did. I've a thing for great female vocals that are exactly that, distinctly feminine, romantic and dreamy, and Fraser is sublime. Also definitely satisfies my Underworld instigated addiction for lyrics that take forever to understand if at all. It's hard to say how many great new and old bands I've discovered by way of this forum - excellent to have new (to me) stuff to listen to in cold days between Chemical albums - thanks everyone!

Me.

This was the first the thing I heard by them. I don't listen to them much these days but this remains a favourite.

haven't heard this in a while

Brainbug - Nightmare

Side Story...

I went to a pretty neat/fun restaurant while I was in Disney World earlier this month where they play old sci-fi films from the 50's and 60's while you dine in convertibles. And the films that they were playing kept reminding me of this music video. I couldn't remember the name of the song or artist until I recently was watching the film 'Night at the Roxbury' and heard the song during a scene. I quickly opened my Shazam App and successfully found my forgotten mystery tune.

For those wondering what I got at the restaurant , Yes, I ordered a $5 shake and it was a "pretty fuckin' good".

gave his mop a chop,
