sneakerbeater EscribiοΏ½:
so how many non uk-ers bidded on this? it was only listed in the uk and the seller says he ships to the uk. did anyone contact the seller to see if he would ship internationally or are you just trying to bankrupt me??
Sneaker, I contacted him about shipping the promo over seas and this was his reponse
Dear xianchamber3,
You asked:
"I notice in the auction info you say that the post is only to the UK. I was thinking that maybe this was because you'd said that you would cover the cost of shipping. I live in the states and am very interested in purchasing this item. Would you be willing to ship it to the US if I were to pay for the difference in shipping (UK sellers ussually charge me about 4 quid for shipping, so I estimate the difference, that I would pay, would be around 2 pounds). The bidding is going to pretty crazy for this item, but would like to know if you'd be able to ship it to me. Cheers, Daniel"
I could be interested but I haven't dealt with an oversea's buyer before. Would you use paypal and if so, is it sent to me in pound sterling etc? Could you let me know how this would work if I say yes please?
So basically he is willing to ship it overseas. This was before the auction hit 72 pounds (and therefore out of my buget) though.
on an unrelated note, I asked him how he got the promo.
Dear xianchamber3,
You asked:
"How did you obtain the promo?"
It was sent to me. I work for a cable & satellite company in London who deal with entertainment.
