Life is sweet...because it has a cool video clip and it has a catchy rhythm...the test is also a cool track but Life is sweet is the better track out of these two. 8)

Depends on my mood - I really love them both, but sometimes I am a bit fed up with LIS.

It's a tuffy. I love Life Is Sweet, love Tim Burgess on vocals and I can never tire of the song. But I have to go with the Test. There's something about the way that song is put together, along with the lyrics especially the chorus, that really strikes a chord with me...

The Test
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

There aren't any whale sounds in it.

*LOL*

I'm not sure, Life is Sweet is cool, the test is really nice though. I haven't listened to Life is Sweet for ages though.

They're 2 really different songs, why compare these 2??

Highly doubtful there were any sampled whale sounds, but when I first heard the song... During the intro I was immediately reminded of humpback whale songs. I think that's what Thor's referring to. It's a unique sound and whether or not it was intentional on the part of the Bros to have sounds in The Test that are reminiscent of humpback whale sounds is one of those Chemical mysteries could likely go down as strangely as the Life Is Sweet lyrics. ;)

I agree with chemicalfan, they're both awesome in different ways.
