Ok so i gonna probably catch some flak for this but.....this sounded to me like funkier groovier new prodigy track what with the eastern flavour that liam likes so much. It was cool in a sparse slow grooveing way, look foward to hearing the extended version :)

It was really different to what i expect. I thought i would be more of a rave tune. Wasnt sure at the start but then it got better, i liked the middle bit and towards the end when they had a kinda robot voice saying 'bush the putton', Im sure the full version will be better and will be more pumping, especially when they play it live and mix it in dj sets. Like get yourself high when they play it live its very full on compared to on cd. Overall i would give it 6.5/10, was for EBW7 i would give 10/10.

It sounded pretty different for me, but that's one thing I love about Chems, they're always one step ahead, every new album sounds so fresh, you listen to it the first time and you say 'uhmmm, weird, but goood!' I'm sure the album's gonna rock, if this is what you're creating guys, I 'm still walking just by your side!

It's quite different and slower than I thought, but I think it's a grower, when I had a second listen I liked it more. The fact that it's different is good and not 'block rockin beats 2' or whatever. The bit I liked the most was the robotic push the button and the bleeping at the breakdown, reminded me of music:response! :D

Hmm....I just listened to the galvanize ( it is now stored in the archives so u can all listen to it - it comes in roughly after 15 minutes).
Well firstly, this radio edit is way too short for the chems track. It feels like when u finnaly start to enjoy the song, it just suddenly cuts off - the end (that loudmouth geezer had to ruin the ending).
At the begining of the song i was a bit disapointed with that mid-eastern sound (it felt a bit like those cheap new R'n'b songs that try to be 'cool' by incorporating mid-eastern rythms and melodies)
The middle and the end of the song were quite good, with the uplifting lyrics and those occasional bleepin synths, but than it was just too short to fully enjoy it.
All in all, a good, solid track from chems, but as somebody mentioned above, i dont see this as a great/pulsing/exploding/dance anthem comeback single it was bulid up to be.
PS.
this is my first post, so hello to my chemical brothers and sisters everywhere.

I love it. Listen to the bass! It's hard with the piss poor quality, but you can hear it with headphones. It feels like the bass from the second half of Base 6.
Breakdown... Buildup. Great opener to an album i reckon; it feels like one big buildup like CWU.
I can't stop listening to it. Plus theres the extended edition to come too. What a week. :drools:

Yay!!!! 8)
hehehe. I wish I had a lowrider. A shimmery fleck bright green one with hydrolics, so I can bounce as I cruise up and down the street blaring this song.
It's got a nice throbbing bass, it's a bit slower than anticipated but it has a good groove and lots of positive energy. Love the breakdown! All is right with the world...
dammit - that guy talking over it grrrrrr! He totally busted my trip!
