Both satisfyingly solid crunchy electronic tracks though.
I really enjoy these tracks, I finally have a decent soundsystem for my car with which to blast these fine specimens of quality tunage! Yay! They do feel they are missing something in the sense these are not Chemical Brother(s) tracks. I have yet to put my finger on the Ed element, though!

Nothing But Pleasure tends to ramble a bit but there are enough builds as the song reaches its peaks to keep me interested. I get the feeling from both tracks that they are meant to be played in the context of a mix. It's fascinating how everyone's tastes are different - I enjoy Nothing But Pleasure more than Through Me! I absolutely love the builds and how the song escalates and intensifies. It feels electric and makes my hair stand on end. I like how dirty and sexy this sounds.

I got a car recently that has an upgraded Bose soundsystem. It's not considered the best in the world, but coming from a lifetime of mainly stock sound systems in previous cars, it is a massive improvement. When there's bass (like, Under The Influence or Snow level type bass), I get a nice back massage while I drive. That's a good bonus, I think, haha!
This whole "Ed Element" is going to torture me until I have enough time to digest these tracks and see them as stand-alone songs written by Tom and not The Chemical Brothers...

Yeah I'd second that. And the fact that people on this forum had noticed/discussed 'Pleasure' rather than 'Through Me' in dj sets prior to release makes me think there must be others who are more taken with 'Pleasure'. Both tracks do feel more like EBWs for the dancefloor rather than rounded tunes. Whether or not that means Ed is good at turning tracks into rounded tunes I'm not sure...

Through me, on the other hand, was really nice to listen to.
